Just did my first heist, haven't even left the city yet and still got so much to look forward to.
I wish there were more side missions though, but hopefully that comes later.

This is wise. Apparently when you switch characters they lose your outfit of choice, cars, and location (last one isn't so bad as its comical).
Also I've decided to try to cover the whole map of GTAV with the helicopter. I flew over the base and lol. Despite of flying low like in one mission, I still got busted and chased after.
Whatever, I need to find that bounty hunter area.
I was getting a Die Hard vibe from it.

You should still be able to take the picture, don't worry. I did it and it has been down for me forever.

I miss the days of getting paid for missions. So many properties that I won't be able to buy.

Regarding the performance, I was someone who was pretty put off by the frame rate and aliasing at first. I'd just like to say that since then I've gotten used to it and it doesn't really bother me at all. Sometimes frame rate gets bad but it doesn't get in the way of the game. It can also look really nice at times as well.

Man the heists are a blast. I suppose in GTA:O you'll choose between all the heist locations and set it up with friends. It'll probably be scripted. I was hoping to do that stuff in the main game with NPCs.

Man I love TLOU so much but what R* has done with GTA V (In a open world game) is up there with ND. ND would probably agree.

I always get the bar maxed out but then when I end the dance it drops down a little bit and nothing happens. I wonder if i'm just supposed to wait until the dance ends by itself but it seems to go on forever
How do I make fast cash damnit, I want to be rich rich and even more rich! Also it would be better if the three of them had single economy and access to each others garage, it gets abit of clusterfck when u enter a garage with someone just to realize the other one has the car you wanted to drive around with.
Ok, so I wanted to talk about some random moments during my last 3 days off of work playing this game. It has actually exceeded my expectations so far; I am loving it and this is coming from a man who thought GTA IV was the game of this generation; GTA V has taken that crown.
- I was doing the tow truck missions early on and Tanya was yapping about something after I did the mission for her. I kept thinking "I really want to be able to just knock her out so she would shut up." Well, it let me hit her with a haymaker; tried to take a picture of the pose she ended up in but the Snapmatic was down Still hilarious.
- The
was disturbing but wasn't as bad as I read beforehand; I loved what Trevor did after it happened.
- I loved going to the Fame or Shame audition to
and when I pulled up the guy said "you can't park here." It enraged me and I cold cocked him, which ended up being a part of getting a gold on that mission; so good.
- Driving in the open area up north; so much to see, jumps to hit. Seeing hikers at lookout points, pushing a few down the side of the mountain..their banter back and forth.
- Trying the triathalon was really cool; I finished in 3rd but need to give it another go as it was really cool.
- Finding that first jerry can and causing a massive explosion as I giggled and ran away after shooting the gasoline, watching the flames run up to the target area.
- The cop chases are SOOOO much better and organic than before. I have hid in places on foot that I never did in previous games because of this system.
- Everything at the strip club.
- Hearing "Rhythm of the Night" while driving around at night in LS.
So many more has happened but these come to mind. I can't wait to see the craziness that occurs w/ GTA Online.

Wow, didn't know you could see the whole map in GTA IV. Makes you realize how astonishing GTA V's map is.
I'm a little surprised that R* skipped Vice City. They've traditionally done VC before San Andreas.
I can't wait to go back to Vice City next gen.
How is San Andreas in GTA V supposed to fit in with San Andreas from the San Andreas game though? Is this an alternate universe of the last gen games? A different part of Los Santos?

Hilarious glitch(?) happened last night:
So I went to an indoor shooting range last night to level up some shit. Well outside the shooting range there were cops and some commotion going on. Didn't really pay attention I just heard sirens and whatnot. So I went inside and paid to do the shooting range. Inside there was another dude just chillin and shooting some targets. Well all of a sudden three cops bust in the shooting range and shoot the living fuck out the guy shooting targets. They talked shit and then walked out. Pretty hilarious, poor guy.

Parked my extremely damaged car next to some guys van (I really like properly parking my vehicles I don't know why), I'm talking smoke coming out of the undercarriage and frame is smashed to 1/3rd of its original size. As I get out of my car I accidentally jump into the guy as he is getting into his van, and he starts swinging at me. So I deck him in the face so hard (franklins strength is maxed out) he smashes into the hood of my car and the vehicle explodes killing us both.

I don't get it man; you snipe someone out in the open, silencer or not and someone will call the cops when they see it. It is up to you to hide from the cops until it passes.
Dude, that is so awesome. The cops are so much more involved in things in this GTA.
One thing I miss, that I don't think you can do in this one, is stop at Cluckin Bell, Burger Shot, etc to grab something to eat.

Are melee attacks different too? I felt like trevor can do some shit that others can't, or maybe i just like hitting people more as him (think he also has the highest strength stat)

Just get a taxi if you stuck somewhere far away from the target.
