I want to experience a dragon bash Now and get me one of those wing skins .
Are the different pet options for Ranger just for looks? Or is Bear a tank, Wolf DPS, etc
I think the best part of Dragon Bash was that song, actually (download here). It was the grindiest Living World chapter, honestly, and none of the rewards were really amazing. Dragon Ball was fun, I'd love to see that come back.
For what it's worth, you can still find one of the wings on the TP (search for "Holographic"). I forget whether it's the solid or the shattered version.
They're each different, combat-wise.

What would you recommend? I was gonna go with Snow Leopard.
Chose bear.
Feed me, Seymour!
I just did an awesome event line that involved a tonne of steps that was pretty fun. I found a locked door and there was a note on it telling me to seek an NPC to help open it. Eventually found him, escorted him to the door and inside were a series of pitch black rooms in which we had to solve puzzles which all lead to a lil boss fight and some phatloot.(rubbish)
Quite cool to just randomly come across! Even got an achievement
Yeah that room got added during the first Halloween event. They were kind of secret were were just told that new areas/events are now available.
How do I get the mask goggles combo?!

Do you need to unlock them for each armour class?
Unlocking a skin for one armor class does not unlock it for the others.
Just to be sure, those aren't actual game textures on that, correct? It's just someone putting their own textures over the datamined model?

What is truly interesting is how ArenaNet are delivering their Seasons. If you hadn’t guessed already, it doesn’t all magically appear as one complete expansion for you to play through from start to end. Instead, the Seasons are being delivered just like a TV show. Each Chapter is released periodically over 2 week windows, with the story and maps opening up with each Chapter; much like what you would traditionally expect with a TV series.
Thanks for the shoutout, Levyne. Your breakdown was solid, but I'll give it another crack. What else would I do, work? What would you recommend? I was gonna go with Snow Leopard.

1) How do you get your textures and such so clean? Are you downscaing?
.2) How do you get your screenshots not fuzzy/blurred out? :L
It does not say that. Even out of context it doesn't say that.
edit: Braxzy Thorgal is playing (or taking shots) at at least 1440p.

As Levyne said, each animal "family" has shared base skills and stats. Members within each family only differ in their on-demand F2 skills. Before I discuss the families in depth, please note that I speak from the perspective of all game modes, and as such I don't know what's currently optimal in PvE.
Bear: High vitality and low DPS make bears appear to be tanky, but they're not actually tanks because they can't reliably hold enemy aggro. Initially seem good due to condition removal of the brown bear. Not recommended.
Bird: High DPS and low health. These are nice for DPS and some human players will ignore them. Good for roaming because one of their skills gives swiftness, but for that reason not as good as cats for sustained DPS. Some short cooldowns on F2 skills. Recommended for specialized use.
Canine: Good toughness and solid damage make dogs very versatile, but it's in PvP/WvW that their crowd-control skills really shine. Wolf fear is invaluable, and drakehound immobilize is close behind. Recommended for fighting real people.
Devourer: Ranged attacker that is tough and repositions away from melee foes. Some interesting conditions on F2 skills. Good for PvE as it is ranged, but also useful in PvP; not my style however.
Drake: The best base offensive and defensive stats make drakes very versatile, but their difficult-to-connect F2 skills make them tricky to use in PvP/WvW. Recommended for general PvE, but try marsh drake for PvP/WvW.
Feline: High DPS and low health. Edge out birds in my minds for pure DPS due to all damaging skills plus more versatile F2 skills. Jaguar is my favorite pet.
Moa: High vitality and some healing skills make moas a strange choice. Their buffs can be useful in PvE, but probably not optimal. They have a niche role in PvP in terms of tanking until your DPS pet can come back, and I like moas, but not the best.
Pig: Decent defense, subpar offense, and RNG-based F2 skills led to pigs being dismissed after release. But their Forage skills are actually really powerful, and their knockdown attack is for 3 seconds.
Spider: Another ranged pet, but trades toughness for vitality and less adept at evasion. Many people like spiders in PvP though because they buff the ranger reliably with their venoms. Again, not my style.
I'll save my breakdown of the underwater pets for another time.
Most of my SS are taken from a resolution of 3200 X 1800p. or if i have more time, 4K (3840 x 2160p ) so yes they are downsampled.
I don't understand, did you ignore or not notice that I posted the same excerpt, or read it but feel like just repeating it would explain something?
Do you permanently play downsampled or do you just fiddle with your settings when you know you're gonna take a screenshot?
But if you need me to: "story and maps open up with each Chapter" could mean that existing maps open up more rather than having a new map added (pretty likely for the next update), as well as the "story opening up" with a new chapter rather than anything regarding maps. You can't read that article and get "new map every 2 weeks" and it's a bad idea to post stuff like that because it will mislead people.
Does GeDoSaTo work for the downsampling?

I don't play guardian (so perhaps I should be quiet), but I saw someone recently discussing Flame Legion runes if you have high burning up-time.Any recommendation of runes for a celestial Guardian? Currently in the process of crafting the gear for one, but no real idea what rune set works best for that spec.
Thanks. It was probably Red Moa, which gives fury. The might stacking pet is the Jungle Stalker, a cat.Great guide. I think I heard a Moa was used in one of the DnT PvE builds because with Warhorn it provided perma-might stacks.
What are you planning to do? I'm assuming PVE, so what weapons will you be using? Soldier runes would be good. Traveler's for speed. Again, I'll need more info on what role you're trying to be. what did you give colin in return

Isn't this a pretty big deal? I though the previous inability to combine models and textures was the limiting factor on exporting characters to other programs. But now we can all have 3D-printed action figures, right?"As you might have read on my twitter I finally found an easy way to render GW2's models with textures in blender (so you'll be getting better armor previews and hair styles in the future). This also means I can render all the other models with much more detail as well.
Thanks. Scunt face.
