Got a PC hooked up to the TV, gonna have MLG playing on that shit all weekend. I also don't feel bad for those nerds without chairs, they're at MLG Dallas!!! Lucky bastards.

Got the "order dispatched" email from Amazon(UK) today for the limited edition. Hoping it arrives tomorrow. I am excite.
Also this is my 9th post in 7 months, am I doing the junior thing right. ;)

It's the Hunter vs MC and it looks amazing!

I have no idea how Ill manage to afford it, but I just preordered it. Too good to pass up, Ill put it right next to MC vs Flood weta statue and my Jurassic Park sideshow statue.

But seriously, go look at it, its awesome.

The great acting that we saw earlier? Gone.

Plus,
Chyler's death was so poorly staged. When did she get hit? With what? We're not shown. The area of her body that took the hit wasn't even exposed. She was a much better character than say, JJ, and she got a horribly cheesy death.

I strongly disagree. Yes, it had its moments of cheese but part 4 was the worst contender with that IMO. This episode was a lot of fun.. sure the warthog scene could have been shot better, etc. but I thought the acting was on par and the final set pieces were really nice. It also had a good strong sense of emotion delivered throughout it mixed with a ton of really awesome moments.

FUD wasn't perfect, but I would be lying if I said it didn't surpass my expectations for it. I really, really enjoyed it and I am sad to see it finished already.

Halo 4 Honours Memory Of Teen Fan In Special Mention
343 Industries are honouring the memory of a teen fan by listing his name in a special section of Halo 4 titled “Heroes Never Die.”

Cade Ainsworth, a 16 year old Halo fan from Gluckstadt, Mississipi, was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at the age of 14 years old. His mother, Dianna Ainsworth, spoke about how his favourite gaming franchise gave him something to live for and how “It gave him a chance to be the hero and win at something when he had no control over anything in his life”.

When 343 Industries learned about Cade’s illness, they invited him out to the headquarters to spend a day with the team in what his mother called “the best day of his life”. There were also discussions of shipping an advanced copy of the latest instalment to him, however about six months after Cade went into remission, his cancer returned and he tragically passed away on July 12th.

On the news of his passing, 343 once again contacted Cade’s family and informed them that they wanted to honor Cade permanently in his favourite series by listing his name in a special section of Halo 4, titled “Heroes Never Die”.

“He could be just Cade in a video game. He wasn’t sick. Cade wasn’t bald-headed. He was just Cade,” Dianna said. Thanks to the folks at 343, Cade can still be “just Cade in a video game” while his memory also lives on in the parents who still keep his room ready, just in case someone wants to play.

Sadly there is no "Red Team" or "Blue Team" base on Ragnarok after the first 30 seconds of play. With random, all over the map, instant respawn you can die at one base and spawn at the other. (Unless you're thinking of a CTF game)

Everyone else is gushing over how great the finale was and I can't do anything but sit here wondering "What are you guys seeing that I'm not?" I don't think Episode 4 was cheesy, certainly not on the level that
Chyler's death
was. That in particular was the most cliched, nonsensical, rage-inducing scene I've seen since the ending of AC Brotherhood. That one made me quit AC. I'm certainly not going to quit Halo over this, but it definitely dampens my enjoyment of FUD.
Chief vs. the Hunters was also terribad. Full of unnecessary slo-mo, one Hunter fight gets cut completely from our view and the other is again horribly cliched and melodramatic. I did like
the part where Chief crushes the single Lekgolo under his boot
, though.

Ergh a whole bunch of people I know have the game already - I can get the game from one of them but its only the standard edition.

Wait for Tuesday and get the LE or get standard edition tomorrow? I dont know! :(

Unless you really care about packaging and pamphlets, I'd get the early version instead.

You're telling me, I've been actively trying to find how to unlock specific armors, but no-one with the game is really helping me out. They're too busy having 'fun', whatever that is.

"HD Pass Holders: Unfortunately due to technical issues DVR will not be working today. We apologize & are working on a solution. Stay tuned."

Well that sucks. Hopefully we get all the bugs out of the system at this first pre-launch event so down the line it can be buttery smooth.

That really sucks. I am not going to be home until at least midnight tonight and was really looking forward to watching some of this when I got back.
