I need to combine Halo and Destiny. A floating Monitor which is scanning the Destiny logo sounds great. I should do that.

the tone of discussion in this thread is as good as its ever been. there are serious in depth discussions nearly every day. you don't go through real life talking about hobbes and rousseau all day, sometimes it's fun to watch football and drink and stare at boobs.
and honestly, what more can be said about halo 4. game's not gonna change, and it's extremely poor as is, so you gotta stop pissing against the wind at some point. I'd rather watch a chick shake her cans than pray that we'll actually get something out of the Halo Waypoint/Microsoft PR weekly bulletin or see if josh "turok" holmes has posted another crying baby picture on his twitter or whatever

Personally I wish Destiny were a next generation title because I fear it will end like Halo 4. Halo 4 does a lot of great in the campaign but you can clearly see, it was limited by the hardware of the 360. At the moment I imagine Destiny as a exploration action game(and please, let it be that one of type game!) and so I expect limitation of the vision.

If you have nothing new to say about Halo 4 or anything, then just don't post. We get some leeway here with OT posts, but the wall of tits in the last page was a disgrace, and it was disgraceful that last few times it happened recently too. You want to go look about that stuff or talk about woman in porn? There's other threads in GAF for that or even other forums on the net.
If you've nothing related to post, then don't. I haven't had much to say for weeks and I've simply not been posting here instead of posting about stuff not related to the game or the community.
Same reason why Halo 4 was on the 360. Biggest install base, it will take the next console a while to build it up (that's why you won't see Halo 5 launch with Durango - well, that and the obvious time constraints.)
Thing is, the 360 and PS3 are holding back the entire industry at this point with their technical limitations. The sooner we jump to the next gen, the better.

All of our assumption is based on the leaked documents where it was stated that Destiny should launch first at Xbox 360 and the new Xbox. But it could change over the years.
If we are already talking about the Scattershot, I asked myself what role it has in the weapon sandbox. First I thought it is a one shot shotgun but the Human shotgun became a one shot weapon too. Furthermore the Scattershot is damn inconsistent.
