Yeah, it's an entirely different worldview. My girlfriend complained it would take six hours to get from Glasgow down to some English town--I pointed out that depending where you start you can drive six hours and still be on Virginia when you stop, and it's hardly the largest state.
Also makes me think about the Serbian War and all those East Euro conflicts---if North and South Carolinians were killing each other it'd definitely be worrisome to me.
Do it. But the main marketing issue I see with this is that you are pigeon holing yourself into a tight niche with it branded just for Halo. If I was going to spend that much money into an investment, I want to give it the largest chance of success and open to the largest market. So take some of your original UNSC ideas, add more general military themes, and *gulp*, add COD/Ghost Recon/Battlefield type memorabilia as well. This way it looks more like a mobile military gaming truck as opposed to just a Halo truck.
And oh yeah, make sure you add some great ventilation and a nice cooling system in there. Shipping containers can get hot very easily. Add 8 TVs/Consoles, and a bunch of sweaty dudes in a confined space and you have a recipe for some rancid smelling parties. LOL

I know it's early, but this is the most fun I've had with a game in years, it's so insanely good. Been partying with HaloGaffers pretty much the whole times, good freaking times.

Yeah, that's what I got from it. Another pretty cool customization option, I always liked the few armours in Halo: Reach that showed my emblem more prominently.

You would need a damn good cooling system; imagine the heat from 8 consoles and all the people in that confined area.

With all the high praise it is getting from all angles, Im seriously considering picking it up. How easy is it to get into for somebody who has never played the previous games?
While i've played Diablo 2 (just a little though), i'd say it is very easy. Controls are simple and intuitive, systems are relatively simple and Blizzard generally makes learning a game rather easy. EDIT this all based on the open beta but there were no changes from it to the final game, right?

Unfortunately I am having issues getting the Diablo 3 installer to work so I can use the code Ramirez gave me. Spits out an error telling me to check my web connection, even though everything is fine. (Error code: BLZPTS00002)

Gods help you if you travel through this state by car. You'll never be happier to leave, for a variety of reasons.
Seems like a logical next step into customizing your Spartan, but they do not really look like patterns then skins. I like this evolution though, hope it goes deep.

Idea, bring back Recon armor in Halo 4 for everyone who has all the vidmasters in 3 and ODST. Of course they can add a new way to unlock it for people who didn't have it but that would be cool. I loved the look of the armor in Halo 3 so I'd like to see it back.

I went on a southwest road trip, driving back to Missouri from Arizona/New Mexico by car via Texas and Oklahoma.
Holy.
Shit.
We dropped down out of New Mexico altitude and down into Texas, got out of the car's AC barrier to check out the Cadillac Ranch. It was like being in hell, or a state-sized oven. Unbelievable heat, scorched earth everywhere, and dust dust dust. The humidity compared to AZ/NM was mind-blowing. And I'm from Missouri.
Recon is one of the ugliest helmets in the series.

Last summer was so brutal. We had to cut down a pine tree because it was too close to our foundation, and by the end of the summer the grass that used to be in it's shade was burnt down to the roots. Still hasn't grown back. :-\
