Halo The Master Chief Collection |OT| Halo Never Died, It Was Just Missing In Action

I haven't had any better luck with matchmaking today than I did yesterday :/
And it is such a huge struggle to get everyone into a custom game lobby to play.
People get kicked out, the chat system doesn't work for everyone, etc.

I'm so upset, I don't even wanna play the single player right now.
I have faith theyll fix it soon, but my friends and I took 2-3 days off work.
We each work different schedules so it'll be difficult to get everyone on at one time again.

Alas, still in love with Halo and I'm glad it's back.

If it's the ambush part where a couple doors open up and you have to fight them off, get some plasma grenades and plant them at the doors that open up on you.

Just put yourself into harms way and get in their face, so they focus more on you. It's tough and can be a little random, good luck.
This is exactly where I'm at. I'll try it.
And it does seem pretty random, him dying.

Am I missing something, or when I press B to back out of the post game stats are you supposed to be kicked all the way to the main menu?

Also, don't step very far into the bridge. If you do, Keyes will walk to the middle between the two sets of doors to join you, and he'll be attacked simultaneously from both sides. If you only go far enough in that he starts his conversation, you can deal with the near door that opens, then deal with the enemies that come into the room via the two far doors. This doesn't guarantee victory, but it makes it more manageable.

Still throw grenades at the far doors, even if you do this.

I'm sure that's one of the many glitches, because there have been times I pressed B and I go back to the lobby with the previous players.

Could you give me an example?

Here's the broken/missing ripples.

Also, my sword blade shows, despite being at 0% (reloading the checkpoint with an empty sword did this).

I also had an issue where the Phantoms in the area above would only cast shadows if I wasn't scoped in.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
Heading home soon. Is MM working better now?

Not bitter, just unsweetened
sweet. i got a glitch doing the silent cartographer pacifist run so it deloaded all the enemies on the way down to the map room

sucks the gold elite ended up chasing me all the way to the beach so i had to get the overshield before doubling back to get on the pelican with no shields and 1 bar of health lol

dude is a persistent jerk

Worked like a charm. Shit got intense.

You actually one shot him, you hit him in the neck where it's fleshy and vulnerable. Pistol is a one shot to Hunters in Halo CE. Easy way is to get them to charge and swing at you, then shoot them in their stomach, or circle behind and hit them in the back.

Shooting them in the neck is rare, but possible. You can see a little orange blood spew up at the neckline in your clip.

Your second shot totally whiffed by the way, once he died and the aim assist turned off, your Pistol whipped up and left and shot the wall behind him.

That's cool, never knew that was possible!

In CE, does your tank have health? I keep getting killed by the Jackals firing a charged plasma at me.

Is it just Halo 2 where the tank has health. It's been a long time since I played either!

Only Covenant vehicles have Health in Halo CE. Tank and Warthog are indestructible. It's you dying in the vehicle, not the vehicle being destroyed.

I'm not sure how I feel about H2A...just kind of feels like a modified Halo 4. Seems most of the matchmaking community are chosing Halo 3 maps

Things that have bothered me most so far.

- The obvious poor matchmaking, game crashes game freezing we have to deal with right now.
- Unequal teams included.
- Poor splitscreen performance.

- The other splitscreen player is almost never in my team.
- My campaign progress isn't tracked properly.
- My rank keeps resetting to 1.

- smg starts
- I want a doubles playlist ;(

Halo 1 vehicles show a health bar if they have health. The rule in campaign is that human vehicles are invulnerable and covenant vehicles have health.

When I say "invulnerable", I mean that you take damage when the vehicle gets shot. The amount of damage that gets transferred to you is generally less than if you were being hit directly, but it's still something, so watch your health bar.

Has it always took 3 body shots with a sniper in Halo 1? Was playing split screen with my brother and found it took 3 shots, we were playing Slayer Pro
I had a hell of a time getting used to XB1's loose control sticks for Halo. I ended up using a sensitivity of 2 for most of the games, or even sensitivity 1 for H3. Im pretty comfortable with my aim now. Took a few hours to adjust. Give it a shot if you're in the same boat.
Speaking of, this is an out there question but has anyone tried playing with a chronusmax to use a 360 controller, and does it feel like it does on 360? I have to buy a wired controller but I don't want to spend $40 on a 360 controller if if the analog inputs don't translate well and feel the same as 360. The better bumpers will definitely help too.

As much as I want to play some MP games, I'm actually excited to play some H:CEA.

That campaign just brings back so many memories.

For anyone collecting feedback for the game, my game crashed and won't start up after trying to continue my progress in the second mission of Halo 2.

I just got matched up in BTB, and *finally* everyone picked one of the Halo CE PC maps!

It was glorious.

Also I was not expecting to enjoy the Anniversary MP as much as I have. It is REALLY solid to play.

As much as people shit on Halo 4 MP, the engine they built is probably the best feeling one since 2. The shots are accurate and feel good, and since H2:A is running on the H4 engine, it feels just as solid. The BR in H2:A is incredible, the 4 shot feels better than ever IMO.

Just saying here that I just played, again, Halo CE co-op today. Yesterday with one friend, today with another one. I was the host, and both of them told me that they had no input lag at all (they're not even from my province)! =)

That said, I believe its pretty safe to assume that Halo CE Net Code is better then before. I mean, I've never played any Halo before, but I've always read many critics about input lag on online co-op.

Also, I had tried with one of my friends to play Halo 2 co-op unsuccessful, but today with this other friend I was able to play, and, again, no input lag for him!

That said, it seems to me that online co-op is flawless dependind of your connection and, of course, if you're not playing with someone that lives TOO FAR (like in another country). My connection is pretty decent, but its not USA / UK / Japan decent.
