yeah it is a bitch. It disappears a lot if you're not close to it and looking at it. Plus it doesn't like to fly into the final pipes area. And it gets stuck on stuff constantly and then doesn't move unless you play with it and move away.
Popping in to complain about split screen achievements again. This time my brother got them, but not me. Thankfully they're not hard ones (we did mission 1 again on legendary co-op to get the ones he missed), but it leads to me not getting things like "Kill 100 grunts!", despite having killed... more than a few.

Yeah. It's super frustrating that it isn't working right but I'm still holding out hope they'll do right and fix it all.

Yup just saw on the other thread. Well, its good to know they're still working against the clock to make things better. Also it seems they will update us again later.
Well... I'll keep playing my Halo CE and some custom games by then. At least the campaing is lovely! =)

I simply try to sit back, realize that the game is actually here and much of it is in playable format unless you ONLY want multi. Try to tell myself that it will get fixed soon and just weather the storm as best as I can.
I'm usually the first one to fly off the handle but I'm trying to be more realistic with this stuff. It's not easy but I'm trying.

As bad as it may be for players you should see the tension at the office when connection issues and stability arise. MS and 343 has a lot to lose if they don't get this under control so you can bet they are pounding on this as hard as they can.

But anyway, its not entirely their fault, they had to deliver it in time. And it seems they're working hard to fix it, so hopefully it wont take so much longer. I hope it doesnt turn out to be another BF4 or DC situation though.

I'm not sure we'll get the absolute truth though. Could you imagine what would happen if they publicly announced something like "Sorry guys, we knew the game was in this state and planned on patching it post launch but we're sorry and wont do it with Halo5... we promise!" lol nobody would pre-order anything from them ever again.

I know right? Too many times I've bought a shooter only to play the multiplayer 100% of the time and not even touch the campaign. Never even finished Halo 4.
I'm fairly confident matchmaking will be okay before the end of the month.
Ya I gave up after trying Halo 1 and picking up the first thing that opens the halo channel. Watched the animated thing and getting dropped back into the game. No controls.
Halo 2 I was about 20 mins into the game and it bombed to the dashboard losing all my progress.
Not really in a hurry to give 3 a try and seeing how long it takes that to break.

Halo 2 is so good.Never played it online before untill MCC and I must say that it is super fun.I managed to play only maybe 10 matchas in Halo 2 (reason is known lol) but I think I like it more than Halo 3 already.
It's a shame that there is only 6 or so remastered maps for it.
Also it is really sad that this game isn't working as it should because it would be so awesome.So many great games in one collection.

Terminals don't work for me anymore. Found the 7th and 8th in Halo 2A and when I activate them I get the achievement, Halo channel opens, then it just closes and sends me back to the MCC. Then when I try to manually go into the channel to view them it acts like I never found them and just says "Play Halo".

So I finally really got into the X1 today and MCC has been dropping back and forth between queued and installing without any percentage for about 40 minutes. Is this a Halo issue or a Microsoft issue?

The CEA campaign is so buggy, half of the sound effects randomly stopped working and didn't come back.

I dunno, I tried activating them like 5 or 6 times each. I even closed down the channel and booted it back up. Just won't work.
If it makes you feel any better it's not like I've played very much. I'm done for a while. Just played 5v4 on turf game just stopped 35-30 for no reason apparently. And my game froze.
This happened to me at the exact same part in the campaign, but the sounds came back later while still in that room.
I had a really good even game on Turf. Lost 50-46

To be fair, without certain sound effects, the campaign sounds creepy as fuck. Kind of cool actually.
To people having connection issues I would recommend quitting to dash and coming back in. I played and got matches every 30 minutes or so last night and now coming back today I couldn't find a single match. I noticed that most other games disconnect your from the servers if your game sits in standby or suspend/resume mode for too long. It doesn't seem that MCC kicks you from the multiplayer servers when those timeouts happen like other games. My guess is that they have a ton of dead/dummy connections on their servers due to the lack of a standby timeout. Just a guess but that could be one of the factors in the long MM times. Also, once I quit to dash and reconnected my rank got reset from 5 to 1 so it obviously authenticated with the servers.
