You guys forget that the majority of people buying this game are Halo fans, most likely. Unless things get worse out from here, they will return by the end of the year.

The draw is too great to give up such an ample opportunity. And if the dedis start working properly than lower population will be a less of a concern than previous games.

God, matchmaking really is a disaster. I keep getting dropped in to 6v2's (WHY DOES THE GAME NOT ASSIGN 4V4) and then when my teammate drops out it just stops bing fun altogether. Takes ages to even start searching successfully, then it's a roulette whether you actually get in or not. My last match just froze at the end of the countdown after selecting the map/game type.

Games getting released in this state is really starting to get me down. Maybe this is what drove me away from the AAA scene.

You would think MS and 343 would take better care of their flagship franchise, A beta test should have been done. Once again business side decisions firing back at MS, they know they should have delay this a couple of months, But they so desperate to "come back" this fall... Well shitty decisions are expensive, this is gonna take a toll in the Halo name and 343.

A flawless launch in Febraury would have been better for the whole xbox brand than this mess, short time decisions. When will they ever learn?

Saddest part of it, is that when it actually works it is pretty good, this is every Halo fan wet dream games running at 60fps 1080p consolidated in a single platform... but man.. what a way to shit your own brand.

It's not the prettiest game in the world, however considering they have to work with the original geometry and are running 2 graphics engines at the same time it's pretty great.


Also it looks far better in motion.

Yes it's a great feature. However, that type of feature doesn't add much to the game. They would've been better off just releasing Halo 2 Anniversary and focusing on making it look properly "Next-Gen." If they did, the game would've looked much better and we wouldn't have nearly as many problems we're seeing now.

Quality over quantity.

You can also switch to AR and fire a buller after you pick it up. That game though we didn't really see a need to quick camo. I mean we beat them 50-9. Some people just aren't ready for CE.

Quality =/= a "proper" next-gen game. It was never intended to be one either, its a collection of games. What you want is Halo 5.

Not really. I'd say it's down to Sabre is limited by their engine more than the available resources. Consider Halo 4 and H2A MP which look more 'next-gen' than the H2A SP despite running at full 1080p.

Without having to include the classic mode they could've remade Halo 2 in the Halo 4 engine, but that's significantly more effort.

Just downloaded the patch here. Tried matchmaking twice unsuccessful; not that I was expecting the opposite actually cause I know its not this patch objective. Just wanna to be sure! lol

This game is so fucking broken. Campaign saves reverting you back to the beginning of the level and match making just being a mess. Jesus fucking Christ.

I'm tempted to trade this shit in. God damn.

Besides I believe the patch notes have not being released yet, maybe the patch fix this issue. Its alredy available. Just turn your console off with energy saving mode and turn it on again.
