I can't afford to buy GTAV and Halo: TMCC, so I decided I'd go with Halo since that'll occupy my time. Except it's not because it's kind of terrible. I'd rather get GTAV right now and wait until I can afford Halo. At least it'll be functional, then.

Yeah, that does sound shit. A fast paced arena, which requires non stop, on point shots and communication. Maybe with a dash of game sense and spawn knowledge.

Sounds like a nightmare to me.

Lets face the truth, nothing relationed about Matchmaking would be better after this patch today. They said it! Matchmaking patch only next week!

Well, I hope those party issues and some SP bugs are fixed thouhg.

Found two games since the patch out of seven or eight searches, both played fine but then the game froze on the loading screen coming out of the matches both times, had to restart the game. I think I might play other games until this is sorted out.

Just played a Halo 2 Lockout BR start match.

4v5

Got destroyed, but the game was smooth. Notice the aim assist really messes with the timing now at 60 fps.

Just downloaded and installed today's patch, now the game stalls out on the title screen after I hit start - no text or anything, just space debris endlessly orbiting that planetoid while the menu music plays.

There's fast paced and then there's so fast paced that you can't do a fucking thing or reposition yourself on the map. Warlord BRs is the later. Warlord is simply too small for BRs.

Yea so DO NOT hit the Y button to "View Last Carnage Report" or "Open Meld" as it will crash your game. This has only happened after the last patch

Tried a little over an hour ago to get an online match and gave up after a Half hour. Maybe I'll give it another shot in a bit, I'm feeling lucky.

Yeah that crash occurred when I wanted to see what weapon I got the most kills (SMG).

Do not Push A to view more details about the game.

The game does that every time you launch it for the first time from non-sleep mode.

My average wait time is 5 minutes here for a game. Usually about 2-3 minutes I will start seeing players on my screen, and then suddenly the last group pairs minutes later.

I highlight the playlist I want for about 3-5 seconds, and then select it. I don't jump into the playlist like I do for other multiplayer games after selecting find game.

Does anything in this game work? Seriously!!

Tried to play some campaign co-op and after the first mission the game went to a black screen and required a console reboot. Go back into the game and progress didn't save. UI is a laggy mess and freezes every other second.

Combined with not being able to find more then two MP games over the last 5 days it's not what I was hoping for being completely new to the franchise.

I like how people assume you can just shit out a patch in a day or 2.

Cause of problem needs to be found, solution made, solution tested, solution optimized, solution tested, solution sent for certification (which has to be done for system integrity) solution deployed.

Difficulty of this is higher because of the multiple layers that need to be worked on, looked at, tested, optimized.

It's not fun for you and it is not fun for them.

Was hoping it would be sorted out by this weekend. I am afraid by the time this game is no longer broken the player base will have moved on. This game game has some big issues. The patches they are releasing are not fixing it. Fixing a game with this many bugs that is is already out in the wild is going to be a huge task. If it is even possible. I really feel for people that game offline. Its as if every game is now internet required if you want to get the patches in order for it to function.

I like how you assume I don't know how the process works considering I'm credited on one of the games in this collection.

EDIT: I shouldn't assume it was known and ignored.

Cool, the one weekend I have a chance to sink some time into MCC I can expect it to not work properly, if at all. I can't think of a worse studio to hold the fate of Halo in its hands between Halo 4, the Halo 5 leak and the atrocity that is MCC.

Halo could be on the hands of the guys who do the WWE games. Pretty sure that's a lot worse

Want to play Halo campaigns? worth it but your save might not remember check points.

Want to play MP? I'd say give it a week or two, customs work but the party system in-game likes to break often.
