I honestly understand all the frustration people have with this game, even I am annoyed and angry. But Trade it in? refund? come on now. This is wet dream for any Halo fan, this is something you will still be playing in 5 years. Its going to be fix by Saturday night as per their notes. Game is still ton of fun when you get in to a match. Just relax, play something else. In less than 24hr I expect it to be fix.

When did they say matchmaking will be fixed by tomorrow night? Guess I missed that during work/shopping today?

i was kicking ass 1vs8 and i got kicked out after the match for an update :s
You went to the game, pressed the three lines key (i.e. start equivalent button location for 360 controller), and selected quit?
Maybe they don't feel it's worth $60 considering the state it's in? So they trade it in, and buy it used or for sale down the line.
Idk bout that. Got a couple games yesterday. Spent 10 minutes searching on TS and prolly another 7 trying btb and no match today yet.

Was gonna say, can someone holla if they manage to find a game post patch. Currently I'm just sat searching h2a. Keep receiving "Failed to connect as the session is full" messages.
Just take what you can get my man.
MM has been working solidly all afternoon. I have hardly been on the same team as my split screen friend but we are finding games.
Hopefully the patch sorts out uneven teams because that is a crock of shit. MM just seems to give in at 7 or 9 players.
Downloading the patch now.
Haven't been able to play 1 game since launch. I'm ok with waiting for the serves to work. Spent 30 minutes trying to invite a friend and join a friend. At least the menu music is nice

Which note says it will be fixed by Saturday night? As far as I have seen they expect a content update to fix mm sometime next week.
Obviously I agree a lot of people are over-reacting.

I'm not getting the benefits either. But actually I believe in that. Many people are reporting that are being able to play some matches... not, in any extent, at the ideal rate or ideal way (with no "tricks"), but I think I'm seeing more reports then yesterday. Hopefully it in fact means improvements.

That happened to me on Delta Halo. That gives real insight into the auto save /checkpoint feature. So they are actually saving multiple checkpoint files even though the user only has access to one when you select "last checkpoint".

Is this patch a MP focused one or does it also fix some menu bugs and crashes?
Pretty sure MCC is required. There's an option in the menu for the Halo 5 beta.
No, there's some really big areas. Like when the Mammoth stalls and you have to protect it. There's also the covenant ship you board and destroy.

On Halo 2, 3, and CE, yes.
Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 4 are a joke framerate-wise. Nowhere near 60 unless you're looking at the ground.

This patch is not about the MP.
It will fix some compaing, UI and party stuff.
Still no patch notes though.
I had one on Halo 2 original but it wasn't BR's. It was pretty insane.
