I like how you assume I don't know how the process works considering I'm credited on one of the games in this collection. This issue was known and ignored.
Thanks to my terribly slow connection, it's taken me a couple of days to download the day one patch. I was at 95% when it asked me to download another patch. I accepted and now my download status has reset to 4% and has stayed there for the past 5 minutes. Am I redownloading the entire day one patch? Is there any way to check the size of the download on the xbone?
I like how people assume you can just shit out a patch in a day or 2.
Cause of problem needs to be found, solution made, solution tested, solution optimized, solution tested, solution sent for certification (which has to be done for system integrity) solution deployed.
Difficulty of this is higher because of the multiple layers that need to be worked on, looked at, tested, optimized.

I don't see how you can comprehend 343 giving a shit about this until way more important stuff that is currently broken is fixed... I'm sure 343 were well aware of how fucked MCC was going to be at launch, so naturally they have had to prioritize the essentials before they even consider looking into stuff like this.
The game does that every time you launch it for the first time from non-sleep mode.
My average wait time is 5 minutes here for a game. Usually about 2-3 minutes I will start seeing players on my screen, and then suddenly the last group pairs minutes later.
I highlight the playlist I want for about 3-5 seconds, and then select it. I don't jump into the playlist like I do for other multiplayer games after selecting find game.
Aw balls... My hot girlfriend just invited me over as I'm en route home from school to play some Halo multiplayer... I have to write two papers tomorrow and I have class on Sunday and Monday. If I'm lucky I'll get one or two games in before she swings by to pick me up lol

Finished Halo 4 earlier. Definitely my least favorite.
What I did like:
- Graphics were an improvement
- Enemy weapons were improved and I almost enjoyed them more than UNSC weapons
- Cortana I felt was an improvement and had more of a focus
- The Composer
What I didn't like:
- Aside from Cortana, Chief and the Covenant, it almost didn't feel like a Halo game (at least compared to the first 3)
- Promethean enemies were annoying and thought the enemy design was kind of boring
- The setting change was unwelcomed by myself
Needed more Halo
- The level design felt way more closed and linear, and there were way less chances to utilize vehicles
With that said, I still enjoyed my time with it (even though by the end it was feeling like a bit of a chore), and I look forward to what 343 brings us with the next Halo.
Also the Composer scene where
everyone gets incinerated literally dropped my jaw. That was gruesome and horrifying, and I applaud 343 for that.
I grappled with whether or not I should highlight that attribute in my post. But she really is so good looking that I couldn't say no even if MM was up to par right now.

I haven't crashed after any games yet (ive played 3 since the patch went live ~45 mins ago) and matchmaking seems to have undergone a mild improvement (though that could just be luck? I've had a 4v5, 2v4, and 4v4 so far with only a few mins matchmaking)
343 has outright said this patch has no matchmaking improvements. That's going to have to wait until next week. This patch addresses campaign bugs, UI glitches, and multiplayer party issues.
Im on my phone with limited internet where I'm at (i also have my xbox). What did the update fix exactly and is it worth downloading if i can for offline play?
I'm an asshole for it but I wish I could use that boot player bug on these kids on my team who insist on going negative in ranked matches. Go to the unranked plz

ranked playlist is basically unranked right now anyway considering they are definitely going to reset it once everything stabalizes and they fix that boosting glitch...
