Bad news everyone, the party up system is trash. If you press B anywhere, in a menu or in the guide it will disconnect you randomly. You can't keep your party between modes, you have to re party up if you want to go to campaign or move between game customs. I really hope they fix this because this is gamebreaking.

I have to go to work in an hour and the main game is no where near completion, is there a way to have the patch automatically download? Kind of confused by the posts here.

AFAIK if you have your power settings configured for instant on and allow updates to be downloaded automatically, you should be able to throw your X1 into standby mode and have them download/install while you're away

If you're downloading now and you leave your xbox on, it should download the patch right after... Don't quote me on that though because I am not 100%. Downloading the patch has given people a lot of issues, including me.

Man all the comments about party/matchmaking and MP in general make me happy I'm just gonna be playing the SP campaign.

Sucks for everyone who was looking forward to jumping in with their friends, though. Hope it gets worked out quickly.

If you started the download after the released they big patch, (last weekend), then it should be downloading them both in one go.
If you want to verify go to the store page and check the size. Should say 59.1GB (US), or 57.2GB (UK)

How long has it been like that? Seems about 20min since your last post. If it's beyond an hour, I'd check the bandwidth option in settings and see if it's actually downloaded data in the last hour. If it has, it might be stuck like mine was at 31%. Had to actually delete it all to get it to work but before you do that, someone else might have a better alternative.

About an hour and a half on 43%

Don't really want to delete :(

The rating system should be like it was when H2 first came out, it was really hard to level up. Then they did an update and it was much easier.

Purchased a Xbone bundle with MCC for £330 from Amazon UK with first class delivery and just found they used Hermes and it'll be delivered Wednesday.
I knew I should've gone to GAME.

So, i decided to get this digitally TODAY, 50 something GB and it's going so fucking slow, it was at 2% after an hour, why the fuck is it so slow? How long should it take to download on a 20mb connection? I'm afraid i will be playing by the end of the week :/

Reset modem and router then hard reset xbox. WOrked for me.

Shit, my XB1 has been unplugged all week and it doesn't seem to be downloading the patch for MCC, just shows the original 45GB download. Considering if I should delete and redownload or wait and see if it starts.

For those complaining about the slowness of the download you do realize there are probably hundreds if not thousands of people downloading the same 50+ GB in mass right now right? There is only so much bandwidth.

Fully shut off the system by pressing power on the front of the system for like 7 seconds until it completely shuts down. Reboot and see if it starts the download of the patch. I know this has worked for others in the past.

edit: It can take anywhere from 5-10mins to start the update as well so give it a few to see first.

You should delete and restart honestly :/ That's what I did since the patch wasn't kicking in for me.

Edit: Or try Kadin's advice first then redownload if that doesn't work lol. I wouldn't risk just waiting hoping for it start though.

Hmm...hard to diagnose...Xbox uses a ipv4-to-ipv6 tunneling for a lot of stuff...don't know about downloads. Do you have a router that came from your internet provider or have you bought your own

oh that's the first thing I tried. ha @ the conflicting advice. it's bad, I'm kinda fucked either way. going to give it a few more minutes

I think the servers aren't ready yet, I was playing it on Saturday and had this problem, then played it later in the day and it was perfect.

played it again an hour ago and it was broken.

pro-tip, don't use the party system to send invites, do it all via the roster.

You are looking at about a 6 hours if you are maxing out your connection to download everything including the patch.

The collection is PERFECTION. It's such shame that customs and campaign are P2P, you'd think with all the hubub about Azure servers and the cloud, they'd want to that shit on everything but apparently for some reason they didn't want to do so.

So I try and select matchmaking, and this message instantly pops up:


"Multiplayer not allowed

The multiplayer feature is blocked due to your Xbox LIVE settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox LIVE account and your Family Settings are turned off."


I don't have any restrictive privacy settings from what I can tell, and I have a current xbox live gold memebership. What do?

I'm using a wired connection directly to the modem/gateway that my ISP provided me.
