after this year i dont think im going digital again for something like this again. 11:12 AM and its 6:25 PM at 60 percent and then i got to download the damn other 15 gig. Noo I had to get this cause I hesitated.
There was an error when it went through, should have taken it as a sign

my data usage said my highs were 1 pm to 4 pm with good 7gig downloads with lows 3s to 4s every hour

Contact support. I don't have an X1 so I have no idea how good they are...but I would want to accommodate you if I were on the other end of the line.
Okay, that was weird. When it started updating, I got into the queue and it took 5 minutes or so before showing 1%. Then after a few more minutes it jumped to 20% and said it was ready to play.
So now I just started the campaign. Guess it was just the 15GB update that needed to be redownloaded... so luckily it was a false alarm.

Like I can't tell if the people having redownload issues are actually having issues or mistaking "redownload img" as the patch.

Maybe, im still gonna digitally buy as many cheap games as possible, but might go retail for some preorders while XBL service is having issues.
And expect what?
They arent going to magically make your internet faster to insta-download the game.
The only solution(s) are to do the whole restart Xbox One and hope the install doesnt restart.
Or wait and post hate on NeoGAF to vent.

Almost caved and went digital but found out my gamestop that's like 5 minutes from me is doing the midnight. Will grab it put it in and sleep, so I can awaken to Halo goodness.

MS really need to fix their installs, they broke them rather bad a few months back it seems.
I just had the game crash completely trying to load Halo 2 Anniversary campaign for the first time, all i've done this evening is play Halo 1 campaign up to the 3rd level, saved and quit.

I did. But now I had to redownload it for some reason. That's not a big deal for me since I'm going through the campaign first anyway (and I have fast Internet access).

So what happened when the game was available? You clicked on the tile and it immediately went back to "installing... 0%" ?
Saw it in games library. Had 50% of disk taken, now it shows 70%.
Hmmm...perhaps they might be able acknowledge the issue...or provide technical support and compensate a user with a small credit. If it is downloading twice, and I say if, they'll be a history.
Just saying.

Same. I cant seem to find a match since Saturday actually. But I thought may be no one has the game thats why. But even today? Nah, i think servers are still not fully up yet.

Purchase and Content usage on XBL is currently limited there is an advisory on the Live Status page, so maybe thats whats causing the issue with some people.
They wont compensate if its a problem that stems from that.
It has already been announced that there are issues with Purchase and Content usage for already purchased stuff.......
The only thing they can do really is apologize for the inconvenience.
Plasma89 though I can probably only sneak one more game in, work tomorrow.

My God, I'm doing absolutely terrible online. Everyone manages to turn around and kill me even when I shoot first. Either my connection is awful or I'm just not used to Halo anymore.

Let me know how the process goes if you can. Like once you click the tile at 0:01, if you need to install something.
No man, stuck at 1%. When I open the "upper" (lol) MCC, it redirects me to Marketplace where I see that the game is being instaled. When I open the lower MCC - the same.
The second one appeared when I wanted to play previously downloaded MCC but xbox insisted on installing the game again and making another icon for it.
Mental.
This is why I seldom touch digital...too much bullshit to wade through.
