Doubt it. Just got matches of TitanFall easily. Has to be an MCC issue because the UI going black means it's having unintended consequences as well. Who knows though.

Read the reddit page. People are having issues with parties and stuff beyond just MCC
No way. Destiny is broken in much different ways.

Not really. Destiny may not be a fun game, may not be a balanced game, maybe even be a lame grindfest of loot, and poor decisions. But MCC has flat out been broken for a lot of people as in not working. Whether it's not finding matches, not registering level completions in campaign, not unlocking achievements, broken party system, even customs and LAN are having trouble working. Black screens, UI glitches, etc.

Nah, Destiny is a bad game, but it works well. The MCC is the exact opposite. LOL.

I can play Halo: MCC and get great value from it in single-player and co-op. Destiny's issues render the game unplayable.

For a given value of "worked," I suppose. Destiny is broken because of a series of piss-poor design choices, the MCC is broken because of technical issues. One of those can be fixed.

GG 343. Sister came over for the sole purpose of playing Halo, was okay with wait times.
But now wait times are infinite. I guess it's amateur hour.

It's gone from kinda-bad to worse.
First match I join bypasses the lobby... No assigning teams, no map vote, goes straight into loading Valhalla. I thought maybe it was a join-in-progress? Of course, that failed, and I'm kicked out to the empty results screen.
Second match puts everyone into custom game. I back out to start over, crash.
Gonna keep at it, and trying to be patient, but at this point, I'm not very hopeful.

The 343i Patch certification is passed. The patch goes online December 3rd, 2014. Xbox Live decisions are removed from strategic code. The Patch begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 21:14 p.m. Eastern time, December 3th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.

Reddit said I need both the patch and the server side update to play. How would I know if I have the server side update? I dont think I've seen "downloading latest MP data" or whatever it says on my game yet. Is it because of the live issues right now?

I literally just downloaded the patch a few minutes ago, loaded up the game... went to multiplayer and started a search, pressed Y a bunch of times because someone said not to, it found players, joining session, joining game, now it's literally loading the map.
People picked Team Slayer on Zenith.

Unplayable means "not able to play". It has nothing to do with if you desire to play the game or not. You could say that destiny is not fun and you don't like to play it, that is understandable but calling it unplayable is simply not true.
