Campaign wise the prometheans just get really tedious to fight.
Sprint doesn't make gameplay faster.

haven't touched the campaign yet.
I'm in the multiplayer side of things right now. of what I've played, I've enjoyed it more so than the older titles.
well, just in general.
I liked it the most out of the campaigns personally. I just started playing H4 again in MCC tonight and forgot how beautiful that game is and now even more.

Campaign to me was a convoluted mess while multiplayer had awful maps and boring gameplay only rivaled by reach.

Engine is fantastic, people tend to forget this. They praise H2:A but shit all over H4, which is fine, but they should acknowledge how good of an engine 343i built which H2:A is built on.
What broke H4 were loadouts and ordinance, and a few of the armor abilities.

What if I told you classic maps were stretched out to accommodate sprint and you're technically traveling the same distance over time.
It's a great game, check out some reviews. There's quite a vocal crowd about the addition of loadouts in MP but a lot of the negativity is typically overblown. The campaign and story is great. Love the music as well.
Halo 4 isn't a bad game but I think it slaps on a few things Halo doesn't need plus carried over some of the negative things of Reach.
Big Team Battle halo 4 matches are actually fun because they strip out most of the bad things about Halo 4.
But in general Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer is everything I wanted Halo 4 to be.

If it was a 'wide spread' issue the GAF Destiny Hate unit would be making thread after thread about it. IGN would be making click bait articles about it ect ect
Out of 150+ hours played I got disconnected twice, one time being 4 in the morning day one, an hour after it came out. If it was so widespread, the last 5 destiny OT's would look like this topic, people complaining and being angry.
In other news, I have to explain to a co-worker tomorrow why her son can't get this game for Christmas because it's broken, and he will have to play something else

That's great guys, but me and quite a few others are clearly still having these issues and no matter how many times you say it's working for most people... it doesn't make it work for me. So much so I traded the game in.
And he can get this game lmao, its working better now and he has 30-40 hours of campaign to go through.
Have you played a multiplayer game since patching? Play a new match and it wont freeze anymore.

I mentioned to me mum I wanted MCC the other day so she thought it would make a great Xmas gift as a surprise. When she went on Amazon and read the reviews she told me she was getting me something else because she refused to buy me something that reviewers on Amazon said was so broken! I almost had to pull the car over from laughing so hard.

It will take time to realize how much random ordinance, personal ordinance, flinch, perks, and plasma pistol/mini shotgun starts ruin the feel of the game. At first it feels fun, but once the newness wears off, it's a whole different story. Also, most of the maps just don't play well for 4v4 (even the smaller ones).

Have fun! I tried coop on CE today and it was slightly laggy for me. Dunno if it's like that for the others though.

Removal of power weapons on map was a big no no
Ordinance drops was cheesy and made you too damn strong.
That see through walls ability was just.. Cmon man.. Never ever should you put an ability like that in an mp game like halo
There were just too many changes that made it very different. Halo was always about map control and the on map power weapons played a big role in that. Removing them ruined it.
I had my fun with BTB matches and liked the vehicles and mechs, but it was just not good in comparison to what I was used to.
I think they said something about staying in lobbies was causing some session issues or something.
I think I prefer this though. It will help filter out afk players showing up in matches
Turn on controller 2, hit A before going into a lobby. You shold get the option to sign her in as a guest
Having host in CE is absolutely insane. I'm not good at CE and I was getting double and triple kills with the pistol with ease. We were down two players (2v4) and I still went 30-14 and won the game. It actually seemed pretty broken and now I understand why there is usually one guy in every CE game with 2x as many kills as everyone else.
Edit: They really should have kept it so that players can remain in the lobby after a game and re-enter matchmaking with the same players. I'm pretty sure that's how the past few Halo games have been. Right?

I think I prefer it this way honestly. I'll take having to hit search again over the possibility of getting afk players in my game because they just sit in the search queue forever

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this. I hope the dedicated servers will fix this maybe.

Post patch this game crashes more than any game ive ever played. I cannot believe this happened to Halo. I just dont understand it. This definitely isnt getting fixed till 2015, if ever. Something is majorly wrong.

I haven't seen that many AFK players though. Having every player just stay in the lobby was really the only way to get matches in relatively quick succession before this patch. Now it's not possible and I have to wait even more than before.
I've had a ton of AFK players, honestly. Usually one or two a game.
As it is right now I'm getting really fast times searching for games so I'm ok restarting the search each time.
