Welp, turns out the recent xbox kind of fucked some of his games up, like 4 of the 6 games he has got glitched or something and all say "installation stopped" he may need to download some stuff again.

Something similar happened to me. If he goes into his storage and hits the menu button over each game it will reinstall (not redownload) the game.

Alright so he just texted me saying that he installed the game again, and in like 10 seconds it fixed itself and he's all good. Weird glitch.

I think it is. I cannot imagine my Xbox One without the Kinect, I don't play motion control games, but I like all the convenience it offers. So for me, I would say it is well worth it.

Just insert the Disc, it will prompt you with an Update (and it will say how big, in this case 15GB). Just click install and it will download the update and then install the disc automatically.
You know, when it's the same thing everytime, you figure devs would be able to plan for it.
To avoid having the whole.. re-download glitch/problem.. I think that there's a pretty easy solution. Once the game is available in your timezone, check the games store page. It should have changed from Preloaded to Play. If it is saying 'Unavailable', or 'Install', DO NOT click it. Hard reboot (completely turn iff anf turn back on) your console and it should hopefully sort its head out.
I hope peeps see this and it works for ya'll.
One last thing, is there a companion app that works for MCC? I can't remember what kind of thing 343 has released if any.

Aww yiss. 4 hours in and almost fully ready. I'd be annoyed if i wasn't going to spend 100s of hours playing this thing. Time to start from the beginning, this is going to be fucking amazing.

Yeah, they mentioned about Nightfall Episode 1 being in the stream as well. I might skip that as I want to watch it with much higher quality.
Where'd you see that confirmed? That seems really weird especially since the game is officially released in most areas.

I am going with this method. I also turned on energy saving power mode to avoid automatic downloading just in case the game decides it wants to re-download the entire game and content update again. Hopefully there are no issues but with widespread reports of problems I am not holding my breath. All this after downloading over 400 GB worth of data just to complete the intial download.
Customs are pretty much the only option for now.

Probably a glitch. From my knowledge it should be unavailable to click, or "play". That install option may not be a normal thing.

I'm gonna wuss out on the midnight release. Meetings at 8:30 in the morning and those will make me sleepy enough lol at least it's just a quick in and out day tomorrow. Grab lunch and Halo then play all evening.
Here's hoping servers are buttery smooth by then.

Super excited. As much as MS hates me (I'm the guy that got banned for playing Halo 4 early); I'm a sucker for Halo. I have eight PS4 games, and two for Xbox One... I pretty much purchased the latter specifically for Halo.
My best friend and I took tomorrow off - an entire day of Halo 2 in 1080p/60fps glory. Cannot wait. Easily in my Top Ten favorite games of all time - there isn't a gaming level more exhilarating than BTB 1-Bomb Assault on Headlong. It's pure gaming bliss.
Halo 2 multiplayer is, in my opinion, just about perfect. Sure, there are some glitches. And yeah, there's the occasionally unbalanced weapon combo or team advantage. But for all intents and purposes, it was a brilliant game released at a perfect time.
Spectacular online modes with phenomenal teamwork and a whole host of stat tracking. No party chat meant you actually SPOKE with your teammates; and most of them were actually cool. You could actually really join forces with other random players; and out-smarting the other team is how you won.
Pretty much my entire 9th and 10th grade years were spent playing this game. It was a favorite amongst all my friends... regularly hauling five or six TVs into my basement for awesome online matches where we played together against randoms. So good.
