hopped on some h1 campaign teased my physical media pleb friends then watched the first two cutscenes for h2 teased some more(unfortunately they got off at this points) tried to find a h2a match and failed so i just decided to walk around lockdown and overall i'm extremely disappointed

it has nothing to do with install speeds. The servers are getting slammed. X1 normally downloads and installs super fast.

Not in my experience, it's gotten better, but nowhere near where it should be. I wish they added an option for those that purchased retail to download this 15GB patch before the game released.

I got a game in one of the halo 2 anniversary playlists. I just got a game in the halo 2 classic playlist, but it was 2 on 3. I had to wait a while to get into both games as well.


Actually it appears that it has frozen, and is not getting me into the halo 2 classic game.

As someone who's in IT, I'm pretty patient about software updates, server maintenance, etc.

This standard right now for day one 15gb+ patches though.... It's... It's a really fucking shitty standard to push on consumers who probably just pulled their asses out of their homes, drove to the store, stood in a midnight launch que, etc.

I understand those folks who went digital and are at the mercy of distant end servers. People who bought a physical copy though. It's not.fucking.cool.

It looks really great in 1080p though.It is also really nice that they added medals to it (should be already on x360).
Framerate and same grass draw distance are little disappointing though.

Did you tried changing region to unlock preorder earlier?

I just played my first Halo 2 XBL game in years, Team Slayer BRs on Turf... goosebumps.

Matchmaking is super slow though right now And the game has already frozen once on me. Hopefully the hiccups will be gone soon.

Also, this is way to quiet to be Halo, why does nobody talk in 2014? I almost miss the kids crying for their orange juice. Almost.
