So I found a match after like 20 minutes of searching (Australian here), entered the map (Heretic in Halo 3), shot my gun and the game froze up and HARD CRASHED, wtf? Corrupt download?

guys those with 59GB install are being prompted to redownload or update? or we are safe if we have 59GB preload?, gonna be at home in an hour.

For me, it said "Install", then after a few seconds it changed to 99% or something, and finished up pretty quickly.

Advanced warfare did the same thing to me last week when my digital copy was ready to play.

I launched the collection and it took me to the store to install. I backed out, shut down and did a hard reset. Launched without a hitch. Try that if it wants you install again.

No, I was just watching netflix right until 9:01, Hit the MCC tile, it asked for a 15gb update, I hit install, and then canceled it, thats were I fucked up I guess. This really sucks.

Halo CE, 60 fps, set the wayback machine sherman, but with extra sauce.. it's like wearing your favorite comfy shoes, but with crack fed directly into your toes.. Wow does this feel good

When I try joining my friends game all that happens is I get a notification saying he was added to the game and then nothing happens. When I click on his name in the roster I see "kick player," which makes no sense because he should be host. Even when I click that nothing happens.

This roster shit is jank as fuck and it's keeping me from playing with friends. Get this fixed 343!

FYI. There's a bug where if you save and quit out of a Halo 2 Anniversary campaign game and resume later, it resets your progress in the level.

It has happened 3 times to me already.

Same thing happened to me. I went out and bought a physical copy, and will demand a refund from Xbox support. I put my disk in, and it continues to try to install digitally, so I have to wait 30 minutes to get a chance to talk to Xbox support to give me a refund.

well it's official. This is the worst console I have ever owned. Second game where I had it pre loaded and ready to go. The game said it was 59.1 gb and now it's downloading a 15 gb update?!?! WTF, ready to kick my console out the fucking window. Microsoft should be ashamed

Got one game of Lockout in.

I don't like Lockout. I don't like Slayer. Not a huge fan of 3v3.

I still had an absolute blast. I honestly don't think I need another game this holiday season.

Between this, Smash Bros, and Civ Beyond Earth; I'm absolutely stacked with content to play through.

I, and a lot of other players didn't have to redownload Anything.
Maybe your console is broken? I dont know.

People will give you a hard time and say you're overreacting. But honestly, if I were in your shoes, I'd be just as pissed.

For a long ass time now, the midnight launch has been a staple of the video game community. Day One gaming is the go-to group activity in our hobby. And between botched releases, shit servers, huge downloads, and general lag... it's kind of sad we still can't get this stuff sorted out.

Sorry man! At the end of the day, it *is* just a game. You won't remember this in a year. But tonight, I do feel sorry for all of you not being able to play!

FWIW, Matchmaking is pretty much broken at this point, anyway.

Just finished the first mission of CEA.

It was amazing.

I never played it on the 360 and haven't played the original in a very long time.

I want to keep playing but I can't keep my eyes open. I'm off tomorrow though so going to be playing all day.

I just love how 343i isn't saying anything. After all the shit that we went through with Halo 4 and the lack of communication from their part, this is how we are welcomed back. Great, just great.

Everything else works, games install fine from disc. I can't believe that microsoft almost went all digital LOLOL, what a fucking trainwreck that'd be. Oh and the download speeds of this console are completely laughable too.

After an hour and a half, I've only been able to join a single persons game (Polyhedron) and after like two minutes of searching for a match we got split up. Still have yet to play a single match...

Hoping everything gets sorted out by the time I'm done watching ep 1 of Halo Nightfall.
