A beta for this would have help for sure, said so I got 2 matches in a row np...
Anyway I'm still playing the campaigns first.

That's not the sticks, that's 343s calibration...
Early in the night I was having issues with matchmaking, but it seemed to go better as the night went on. Whether that's due to them fixing stuff on their end or just less players trying to get in is anyone's guess.
My one match of Halo 1 was a bit disappointing; the lag was pretty brutal. A lot of my shots that should have hit (even saw the spark land on them) didn't. To be fair, I was disconnected from that game halfway through, so maybe it won't always be that bad. It was fun to play against people that had obviously never played Halo 1..was pretty brutal.

I don't think so. I've noticed it with every game. Recently I've been playing Destiny on 360 with friends and switching to X1 to play with other friends, and it's very apparent. Same with Titanfall earlier this year.

It works. Once and a while. I played 2 ce games since 1 am. That's all. I can't get into any matches since.
I don't think it'S more deadzone, it's just that the sticks are looser and travel faster, therefore you notice it more. 360 sticks were a bit "sticky" the first few nudges.
Cold boot, pausing-resuming, setting the console to power-save instead of instant on.
That are the tips floating around.
Not finding matches? Most of the playerbase is probably stuck downloading the day one patch.

Halo Reach and Halo 4 never had this issue with millions of more players on a less capable system.

Boy... can't find a single multiplayer game.
Games didn't require a 15 GB download to play MP though. I'm thinking it's definitely more so bad matchmaking since there should be enough people who pre-loaded the game but I know that th patch can't be helping matters.

Still downloading this goddamned patch. In almost 15 minutes, it's gone from 77% to 80%. It's almost fucking 3am here.
Man i knew it, second game out of three that ive predownloaded ive had to delete and redownload. They just refuse to finish installing the patch, it happened on sunset and now this, the only game to work right was cod. Getting pig sick of this now re downloading this is going painfully slow 10% in nearly two hours on a 75mb line come on.

You recall wrong. Halo 2 was perfectly fine when it launched. We played non-stop until about 11am before passing out.

took me 8 hours to preload the game and the patch last week on 30mb down. so take that and consider the amount of people downloading the game right now.
always works fine for me too, and I only use instant on. Did it with 6 games now, never had a problem

I just tried to re-join but it was taking forever so I did a hard reset.

Ok, thought I was the only one not finding a match. Been trying for literally 20 mins between Halo 3/4 and nothing. Guess I'll just start Unity tonight and hope this shit is sorted by tomorrow. I NEED my Halo fix ;((
