This is about how I feel right now with this fucking piece of shit.
I'm assuming somewhere, a server farm is currently on fire because of various things. I really did not expect this from 343/Microsoft.

Reconnected before launching the game so now it's downloading the 15gb patch and won't let me launch the game =/

I played 1 game of H2A Team Slayer, 1 game of H2A Big Team Battle, 1 of Halo 3 Big Team Battle, and 1 of Halo 1 Big Team Battle. When this thing works, its glorious, I cant wait till they make the matchmaking good!

The Halo Twitter has put out a whopping ONE tweet about it. It was essentially, "Yeah, we know shit's fucked. Just keep trying." They're not even addressing anything.
Is Certain Affinity responsible for the online in this game?

Has anyone encountered a bug where all the sounds appear with a delay and there´s audible high frequency corruption too (crackles, pops) too? Noticed it yesterday while trying Halo 2...
Other than that, you get what it says on the box. Awesome value for money, 60 FPS and the cleaner IQ really makes a huge difference. As a curiosity I wonder what type of AA Halo 2 Anniversary is using? It looks cleaner than the typical 900P or so game, so clean I initially wondered if they hit 1080P with the game after all. And surpassingly I´m loving the engine switch feature!
And another random first impression: the lack of AF in Halo 4 really hurts the game. The first map in particular looks horrible with the low resolution texturing that turn into a blurry mess so soon. Luckily the game picks up from there, but the first level sure knows how to give a bad first impression.

There were no problems with Halo 2's matchmaking at launch. My entire group of friends playing matchmaking with no issues until we passed out at noon the next day.
Not for physical buyers. Every single person who buys the disc is going to get screwed not only installing the disc, but then being forced to wait hours for their patch to download before they can play pretty much any multiplayer. I bought the game at 10pm PST, it's not 2am and the patch isn't done.
