Just had my first match. Halo CE derelict but I wwas put in a 3v4 and so it was tough when you have 4 guys with the pistol aiming at your spawn etc. Didn't do too badly.

Pretty pathetic that it wasn't from 10pm that I bought the game, till 2:30am that I could install and actually have a match. It also took me near ten minutes to a join a game. This reminds me of Gears 2. Hopefully they put boots to asses tomorrow and fix all this.

It's 6am and I can't take this shit anymore. SIX HOURS and NOT ONE match did I get to play. I couldn't even join anyone's custom invites. It kept giving me network errors. 343 should be full of shame. What an embarassment on all levels. I took a goddamn vacation day off from work for this game tomorrow and if this shit is still broken when I come back, I'm probably going to trade this right the fuck back in to Gamestop towards CoD:AW. At least that game fucking works.

Guys, Halo 3 looks incredibly washed out on my tv. All other games look completely fine. And I can't find any brightness settings.

Is that normal?

I'm seriously bummed. I stayed awake far too long expecting to get nothing but glorious MP in all night long. I was lucky in that I did get a couple of matches in from 12-6am, but seriously disappointed it wasn't game after game of epic nostalgia fuel. Instead we have constantly waiting for a game to be found, the in game party system being a complete mess and backstep from even H2... TEN YEARS AGO :/

The in game chat is a joke, constantly having people unable to hear one another unless they leave and rejoin or restart the game or their console. The fact that we have had to depend on customs all night is abysmal. How did this get past any type of QA? Shit, how have the gaming press said absolutely nothing regarding these glaring issues that I've seen?

343i claimed that the games would run exactly how they did when they were released and they don't so far, as far as I can remember each Halo game has fully functioning MP for their respective launch. They also claimed that MM would be the fastest of any Halo game to date, but judging by the current state of affairs I would say they missed the mark by a goddamned mile.

This had better be addressed in some way when I wake up from my sleeps. I'm angry right now and feel terrible for people like my brother who woke up at 12am to play and had to work at 430. He tried to get as many games in MM as possible, but instead was forced into a handful of mostly random customs. The fans of Halo deserve better than this and 343i should let us know what the issue is and how long the wait will potentially be.

Halo 4 was about 10 minutes, Halo;CE was at 15, Halo 2 was at like 40 minutes, Halo 3 was at like 45 minutes in, Multiplayer was at like 4 hours in.

Played 10 minutes of HALO CE before work this morning. So Hyped. Even if Master Chief is a bit bandy legged climbing out of his Cryo-Chamber.

Things have changed alot in 10 years. Of course this was going to happen to some people with it being one of the biggest games released this year. Just imagine how many other people are trying to get in a game and its happening to them.

All i'm saying it's give it time. I'm picking a copy up after work and i'm expecting something like this to happen but at least i've got the game.

Added. Got this game waiting on my HDD at home. Work is going so slow today. My GT is: Zombie Lyle. If anyone is up for a game or some co op.
