Is anyone else having trouble connecting with friends in general? Me and a friend wanted to play the Halo CE campaign and we cannot get in a lobby together. Whether I invite him or he invite me, we cannot get into each other's game session.

being up the scorecard in game then press A, it must be a server based thing to make everyone think their host or something.

First thing I booted up too. Cut scenes are kind of stiff but it looks great...never played it on 360 so to me it looks great on nostalgia alone. Pretty awesome they added in bumper jumper controls too.
How do you switch it to the old graphics style though?

Yeah I do. The thought of plugging my XB1 directly into my wall terrifies me.
It's odd because nothing else plugged into the surge protector (like my PS4) seem to be affected.
Press the back button (IDK what it's called on X1)
It truly is a good game minus the issues.

Yes, I've only been able to play 2 matches, but if this shit actually worked like promised it would have been amazing.

Make sure you're plugging the HDMI cable into the output slot, not the input slot.

sometimes achievements will lag behind for some reason, you can still do the task but the pop up can sometimes take days to appear, it's so bizarre.

Are you sure it's plugged in the correct HDMI port? There's two in the back and it's kind of confusing which is which so it's easy to plug it in the wrong one ._. (I did this yesterday)

With titanfall and destiny they unlocked later for me. Titanfall they were noted as 100% completed, just not unlocked.
I'm not sure here though, achievements are popping again for me but not the ones I should have.

I agree. The amount of stuff in this game is pretty insane. Granted there are some tech issues, like when using the Warthog in Halo CE causes the frame rate to drop a little, but stuff like that does not bother me too much. I am just impressed with all the content in the game and the menu's etc. It is just a complete package.
It does sadden me that so many are having so many issues. It is clear that the collection as a whole was not fully ready and with no beta testing for something that would be extremely popular was a big misstep on MS and 343's part. But things have been getting better and that is a good sign.

Yeah, I've been gaming on the 360 since launch (as well as X1) and have never had a problem with them. Shame, it had to start with this collection.

It would be nice for Phil, Major or Frankie to say something. It will just help calm peoples nerves and frustrations. It would mean a lot more if it came from Phil however. If he would come out and say, "Sorry for all the issues everyone, I am personally speaking with the team and we are going to get this working properly for everyone to enjoy the game as we intended".
