Trying to play customs with friends is pretty pathetic right now, let alone trying to play online playlists with a few friends.
I must have restarted the game atleast 15-20 times just trying to get the friends list to work in-game.

Anyone want to get a lobby together for some good ol' 4v4 Halo 1?
Finally got in a mp match. Got totally destroyed but it was fun. Game then froze. Worst part is it will take a good 25-30 matches for me to have any chance of being decent and at the rate this is going that will take a LONG time. Forgot how different Halo is from other shooters.
I just started doing halo 1 campaign on legendary and man it is brutal. It doesn't feel cheap like the COD campaign does on veteran. Elites taking 2-3 melee hits after their shield goes down, that is if you can hit them as they dodge. These modern FPS have made me a little soft. Thank you MC for the wake up call. Hopefully by the time I finish H1 the online issues will be resolved.
Is this behavior common?
Same thing happened every time a match in split screen mode.

There is no way at all that this game could pass testing. I've only been playing the game for 45 minutes and I've already had two crashes and about 5 other glitches. This is some major bull, this is a beta for sure. Must have rushed it out the door knowing it wasn't done.

So far i was able to play some H2A rumble and a few rounds of team H2A. Infact the map i played the most was Bloodline. Worked well when it did. Very well actually. Just wish i had people who like to converse a bit more. Some people are saying they are finding matches quicker so we shall see. But the amount of single player content is amazing so i cant complain too much.
I hope this wont turn out to be a Battlefield 4 issue were they lasted like 2 months. Doubt that will happen. MS keeps their shit in order.

Sitting here watching a movie and had this still installing displayed on PC monitor to the side. I looked at my post history and it's took since 7pm to go from 45% to playable in online... When it finished I got up and turned it off. Fuck Halo

The loading in between Blur's cutscenes is so jarring. They look great for the most part but I'm not sure the trade off is worth it. With some animation cleanup on the particularly sloppy parts the new models/lighting would have been just fine for in-engine cutscenes.

OMFG this game is really starting to piss me off.
I started a match in Derelict (H1). My button config was changed to I think bumper jumper or something. Then I was getting connecting players warning none stop flashing on my screen. Tried to quit and since it kept flashing the connection warning, i was pretty much stuck in pause mode.
Waited 10 minutes and got into another game. Was enjoying the first 3 minutes when the game froze and crashed.
Gonna post the vids in a bit.
Also somewhat off topic. This is not the games fault. I noticed twice so far, on Twitch, the music can trigger the copy right bull crap because two of my past broadcasts were muted...

I believe the problems are almost restrict to matchmaking. I've played plenty of Halo CE today, SP and co-op and everything just ran fine. However I'm having a special difficulty to launch Halo 2 co-op for some reason, maybe its a bug.
Now, they need to fix matchmaking asap! And hopefully fixing it we wont be seeing some strange bugs like people are relating here.

I thought the same. I found it harder to see things with the added textures.
This is really frustrating. You know there is a good game behind all of the bugs.

Yea I noticed that too. Also had sound issues on that map. Whenever I moved it was this weird beeping sound. Went away if I stood still...
For a little bit I thought 343 could pull it off. Apparently not.
