I wasn't talking to you. And I am not insulting anyone. Was just stating a general observation. I have no interest in talking to those anti semitic degenerates. They know what they said and what they are doing.

You're on a public forum, "I wasn't talking to you" doesn't apply. You were asked to provide clarity and you ran away, trying to virtue signal with a "yikes" before thinking better of it. Not a good look bro.

Oof man this is bad. I wish we could just get rid of all the wars and violence.
Does this mean that the US is going to be giving tons of money to Israel like we've been doing to Ukraine?
Does this have any impact on the chances of a US recession?
Could this actually kick off WW3?
The USA already has such a huge military budget, and military spending is an anti recession measure anyway. What you worry about is a public debt crisis, which in the US, people tell scare stories to each other about way more than it happens.

As for WW3 that is very complicated. Any conflict in the world adds to how much we could be said to be living in "WW3" as a world war is a time when, for whatever reason, a really large number of countries in the world decide that it is their time to "have a go" and attack their neighbours. Right now, this isn't enough, but if Iran and China decide to go hot then absolutely you can start talking about WW3.

Considering how once Egypt wanted to kill Jews and then became the first country in the region to have relations with them I would say there is more to it. But hey, “they hate Jews” is a lot easier than looking in depth at a situation. Kinda like “nothing can be done about school shootings” in a country with free access to guns.
this is after 40 years of "peace", a police officer kills 2 Israeli tourists

No, that's why there are almost no killing of innocent people on the Palestinians side, because IDF goes after terrorists. Israel does have some nutters but it's not even remotely comprehensible.

You still don't get it, when they say "Free Palestine" they mean the whole lot. No Jews.

Think of why there re almost no Jews in 50 Muslims countries in the world. Think about it.

Sorry, but there are far too many violent nutters in the whole region.

Hamas have a terrorist wing (probably the largest part), but Israel have been supporting the stealing of land from Palestinians (and historically all of their neighbours, even Jordan).

And as a Brit, the founders of Israel themselves were terrorists. A price your country has never paid for.

And just to be really fucking clear: attacking, kidnapping, and killing innocent civilians is abhorrent.

You do have to wonder what was going through some of the Israeli civilians minds being so close to what is effectively a prison that is known to have terrorists in. Let alone having a fucking festival.

People believe in flat earth, chemtrails, nanomachines inside the covid vaccine and that we're living in the matrix.
While some humans are very intelligent, the majority of people seems to be utterly retarded.

Hey! the matrix theory is well supported.

Let me put it this way… I would not have gone on a festival this close to an infamous warzone. I refuse to believe that anyone attending wasn’t at least aware of the risk that something could happen.
I remember there were some people who went traveling either to Syria or to Iraq to prove that it was peaceful or something and they were killed.

was a legitimate concern at the music festival they were attending
You are talking as if they had a festival somewhere in Tel Aviv or something...The fact is that the festival in location where they could be a military conflict any time.

You’re a fucking idiot. We can all take solace in the fact they considered being raped, shot and paraded through the streets was a legitimate concern at the music festival they were attending… Jesus fucking Christ
Calm down… that’s not what I wanted to say… Believe me, I was just as sicked seeing the footage yesterday as anyone else. Sorry if my statement came out wrong.

Holy shit, I live near a prison, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised when my wife is raped and killed by people escaping

Religion doing what it has done best for millennia.
Is it fair to me, while I want people to do what they want and to believe in any god, just want all religion to end.

At this point, religion is nothing more than popular sectarianism.

But they are also part of our history and culture, but still I believe all religion are obsolete.

Believe in a god is more deism and theism, but this is where it should stop

Watching my local news now...

I think I would be more satisfied if the crowds in Iran, Turkey etc. celebrating the attack got bombed than Hamas.

It is gonna be a shitshow for sure. I do wonder how other arab states will react, because it seems like Egypt is 50/50, Lebanon is also 50/50, but does not accuse Hezbollah of anything.
Especially I am curious about turkish reaction due to their conflict with Iran, while this situation benefits Iran. Saudi Arabia's reaction is also a question mark as they are trying to recover their relationships with the western world and also have a conflct with Iran in Yemen (I believe?).

I think it really boils down to how fast IDF will resolve this situation. If IDF wins fast, then other states will wash their hands of the conflict, if it drags - there are options. The most dangerous thing is that if Hamas gets access to modern IDF military equipment (granted it requires specialists to control it).

It reminds me why the political forum was nuked. I understand this a very emotive subject, but some people here lack the maturity to discuss this type of topic.
There is a lot a foolish rhetoric being spewed that isn't worth engaging with. The only reason why I'm even bothering to come back into this thread is because it can be a great aggregate of up-to-date news/events as things continue to unfold.

As a Jew It's kind of sickening seeing so many anti-semite comments in here. Kind of scary actually.
I am sorry to say but its everywhere online mainly because its basically an acceptable form of racism on the left. If somebody of the far right spouted any crap about Jews like Kanye they would be rightfully vilified but not on the left. I don't know how many conversions I have had with people who say I don't hate Jews, it's just Israel I don't like only for 5 minutes later for it to turn into an anti capitalism rant, and how Jews are behind the system. It's like clockwork.

Turkiye's been on the approach of normalisation with Israel after erdo's disasterous foreign policy bullshit since the mavi marmara incident. I think bibi and erdo were supposed to be meeting each other to tie a bow on various cooperation initiatives regarding East med, gas, security etc in the near future. Obviously this throws a spanner in that and suits Iran fine.

I don't think most did.

But they were incredibly naïve. I wouldn't go to a festival on the India/Tibet (China) border, not the one on the Bangladesh/Myanmar one.

But hey, perhaps we should all go to a festival on a border with Afghanistan! Oh, oh! How about North Korea!

This is going to be a tough time across the region as the reaction of the populist Muslim youth movements will be more violently in support of Hamas and opposing their own governments, except for Iran.

War and everything else hateful would thrive on just fine without religion. There's kind of a big one going on in Ukraine that has nothing to do with religion but that's all the atheists can think about is blaming religion for all the ills in the world.

Yes, war is part of the human nature. Unfortunately.
But religion is one of the main reasons for several wars and conflicts, across human history.
And without it, the world would take one step closer to having much fewer wars.
