Just won a match despite one player on our team deciding we had lost about two minutes in. They gave up, farmed gems to avoid the AFK system, didn't help us at all in teamfights or with objectives and intentionally fed at their forts to try and lose the gems. Ended up picking up their gems a number of times to turn in and we won despite being down a player for pretty much the entire game. Couldn't stop them from bossing but we wiped them and their core.

So SEL has already flamed out pretty much? I don't even see it going on anymore. Shame. Kinda figured it was inevitable with the egos and the fact that they were simply policing themselves. Even amongst the top 1% there's still a huge skill gap from the best SEL player to the worst.

Happened to me once ever a few months after I started playing HOTS. Felt so bad. My team didn't communicate (or reply to me), ignored pings, sucked, everything. That was back on the old, really, really bad AI. The AI now is at least sometimes a not-shit opponent.
Got that rank one life on my second account, this time mostly duo with Proto and/or Milly instead of solo like the other.
Now the question is what to do. With the changes to rank 1, it's so damn easy to lose it that it feels almost pointless to play HL as there's no gain. Unlike most I really can take or leave drafting since I play like Yoshichan (I like to spam one hero for a while).
I guess I'll have to pick one of the two accounts and keep going anyway from time to time though. Maybe I'll finally work my main account's HL out of the MMR hell we got it into.

This game is not good for my blood pressure. 30 minute quickmatch on dragon shire that should have been over after 15. My team got every single dragon knight. Every single one. They didn't push with it once. On paper it's a victory but it didn't feel like one, that's for sure.
