Butcher's current problem is actually Greymane. Greymane does what he wants to do but better.

Yep, would definitely agree on this. The thing is, I don't want them to increase the butchers damage, that feels like a bad idea. They need to make them different - butcher should be harder to CC when he goes in, and find it easier to stick to people I feel than greymane.

Greymane straight up needs a Worgen Form nerf. It currently just does way too much damage given that he has an entire other form capable of poking. Butcher's actually close to fine.
 
I would fucking love it if they reclassified and reverted Tyrande so that she was more like her Alpha version. The old Shadow Stalk with global vision of the enemy team was so damned fun.

I like your idea of changing the support classification to simply healer and placing Tyrande and Tassadar, as well as future hybrids, under different classifications.

I dunno- even before Greymane he was hardly ever seen at the pro level. I still feel like he needs something to put him over (and the massive pointless nerf to Lamb to the Slaughter was utterly unwarranted).

And Greymane needs to lose Executioner, *fast*. That's one of the problems with him now - he hits for 600 a swing at 16 with it, which is mad. Wizened Duellist probably needs a slight nerf as well.

One of the Korean teams did a Greymane comp but just subbed in Butcher and it still worked. The issue is that Butcher's kit isn't nearly as good to compensate.

Actually yes. You'd think being able to 2-shot Chromie would be enough to make a well placed Sandglass be rewarded but no just straight runs through it and destroys it in the process.

On a more serious note I just don't like the idea of all in melee, I still haven't played a single game with Butcher.

They could Medivh-y Tyrande and Tassadar, making them specialists. Medivh is clearly a support even if he isn't labeled one. Plus, they already busted the idea that specialists = siege heroes.

No-one seems to have noticed on Reddit but if you connect to the PTR you can download the new patch and patch notes. Major changes in here.

- Regen globe and healing well changes have gone through
- Minions now deal double damage to structures (winning your lane just became a lot more important!)
- catapults got a major buff
- 26 heroes have talent passes (still reading). Dev comment - this is apart of a massive second look at talents that are not picked to improve them, across all heroes in the game in the long run. so lots of unused talents just got boosted,.
- Gardne terror now does 200% bonus damage to structures

Gul'Dan:

Trait: lifetap. Gul'dan doesn't regen mana, he can lifetap to trade 25% life for mana

Abilities: Q Fel Flame, line of fire that passes through things damaging them all
W - Drain life, 3 second channelled DoT that deals damage and heals Gul'Dan
E - corruption - 3 bursts of damage in a line, causing damage over 6 seconds. Stacks up to three times

Heroes:

Horrify - After a short delay, deal damage and fear everything in an AE circle for 2 seconds
Rain of destruction - 7 second meteor spam over a large area.

Zagara got completely reworked - creep works differently, Banelings work differently, tons of talents changed. One of the biggest reworks I've seen. Mutalisks now last forever!

Azmodan got a second globe questing talent, that triggers off hitting heroes.

Further minor kael nerfs.

Yeah but they moved the increased size to level 16 which makes a *big* difference.

Also Greymane at 20 can basically give someone permanent vuln - any attack by any allied hero on the marked target refreshes the duration. Talk about Cho'Gall killing ability...

I didn't take that talent, I always went for the mana sustain unless it was a skirmish map.

And lolwtf at Worgen Form getting BUFFED.

It was my auto-pick - I always took the globe talent at 1 when playing her. The increased size on the blizzard makes it so much harder to get away from, I find it very hard to play without it.

Still, options and boosts! Nerfs to Kael will help her as well.
 
Hrm did they nerf Kael'Thas rebirth talent? You can now only recast from the Phoenixes position and not KT's..

No, it's definitely changed functionality. Allowing the player to cast it around KT meant there'd be instances where you could cause it to go pretty far, with the change it'll only be around the Phoenixes original position

I think the new implementation is the original intent is what I mean, based on what I'm recalling of the UI.

Lunara finally got that nerf to natures culling. And I'm liking the splintered spear spread buff. I really enjoy that talent, especially against healers that can't sustain through it.

Edit: Minion changes to structure damage sounds fucking awful, buildings are already weak.

What in the actual fuck. Blizzard now has 3 waves as a default!? Jaina wasn't enough of a siege damage monster?
