Ressurect is okay in certai match ups (noticeably quick match), but don't underestimate crystal aegis. It's a lot harder to use, but as a means of preventing damage it's very powerful (rather than what most players do, which is use it when someone is at 10% life and they die straight after)
That's going to happen more for me once we get the new progression system. I know it's dumb, but I often shelve heroes I've gotten to 9+ in favor of ones I haven't leveled up as much yet (I don't do that in HL/TL, mind you, I always try to draft the best I can). So I've got a bunch of heroes I haven't touched much in quite a while that I'd like to go back to.

That totally happened to me with Kerrigan last night! I had been on a long run of specialists and supports, but then got an assassin quest so I was all "let's bring Kerrigan back out for a go" since I was a bit burned out on Alarak and the like.
And holy cow is she fun. Nailing the baseline Kerrigan ***** + the ravage followup if they survive and try to run away is highly entertaining. I'm sure i'll get bored with her again soon, but it was a breath of fresh air.
quick match with vikings is pretty interesting with weird team comps and bad vikings map. My micro is not as bad as I thought it would be after not playing them for awhile. I wish that the hero had better talent choices though, too much of his stuff is focused around just buffing specific vikings wish they would have other alternatives to bribe, spin, jump. lvl 4 and 16 are so bad for him.
Also I wish longboat wasn't trash. they could get rid of the stun on it now.... or remove the requirement for all three vikings to be in the same place. Just give me a 1 or two viking boat if i want it. It would make him a lot better on maps like braxis or battlefield

Can anyone help here?
I am having an issue where key presses in game are not recognized for some reason. I have to spam an ability for it to go off and this usually ends up in death.
Even pressing ESC on the main menu to bring up options only works like 25% of the time.
Any idea what could be causing this? it doesnt happen in any other game.

Yeah I had a bit of a google but could only find stuff from a year or more ago and none of it was resolved haha
EDIT: OK seem to have fixed it, it was Geforce Experience. Never had it cause issues like that before with a game but completely disabling it has fixed all my problems.

You can press ctrl alt f in the game for more metrics, i find that a lot of the issues in the game are network related, the engine has a hard time dealing with stuff like that. Also try running it w/ dx9 instead i guess (can choose via settings in the launcher), sometimes that solves ppls problems

Couldn't find a game last night, waited in unranked queue for five minutes, figured something was wrong, requequed to QM for another five, gave up. General chat was hollering about putting together teams for AI stomps, I guess to get the quest?

haha cheers, yeah I have had issues before with the game taking huge FPS dips, so I had been round in circles looking a the stats and menus, alas it was Nvidia ruining it this time so I won't blame Blizz!

I am actually surprised to get too many new heroes for free on this event. I mean I was expecting something crappy as a mistery reward to get one of those heroes mentioned on the 30 wins reward but no, I got the Auriel, the only one I wanted plus the Arcanist and the other guys I dont care and a stimpack for 28 days. Without counting Zarya, two portaits , a genji skin for OV on console or PC.

But now I have 3rd armored horse shade that perfectly matches her 2nd shade.
Also think I'll pick up Johanna since I'm at 11,780g and especially with the stimpak there will be no worries about having enough when Ragnaros drops to 10k. BTW didn't Arthas used to be 4k at some point?

The game reaches 5 minute queue time for QUICK MATCH. 2/3 games have no supports, mostly assassins/warriors/specialists running around.
HotS MUST stay at the current playerbase or else it is going to spiral towards abandonment. Blizzard knows this, they want to offer huge initiatives to sustain the playerbase.
Yea you can do one or two as long as the other ones are dead, so the functionality is already there, just make it to be all in range instead of all alive and in range.

All the Diablo series characters I've tried so far have been really fun (Azmodan, Diablo, Auriel) or at the very least alright (Nazeebo).

oh i didnt see that the diff monk statues had different cds, yeah I dunno then
healing ward is nice to have just cause it helps push you over for the ward hop escape, but I only really used it for hopping so id prob consider the other ones too
i mainly picked it out of guilt for going all dmg, but fuk it

Yea air is the best if you don't care about supporting at all, earth is very strong though really hard to kill in the middle of a fight and permanent block for all inside. Really good against hard engage/back line dive/and Samuro in general.

Something I still don't understand with Glaurung is how his pool in competitive has been historically low when he's playing more than 3 heroes on stream regularly. He's been playing nothing but Dehaka and Alarak lately. I know he has no confidence in his Thrall but it's hard to imagine he held his comp pool low for lack of confidence.
