His lava wave is ridiculous. Very damn good clear, and if you get a team fight in it, it does ridiculous damage. Not to mention all the minions you kill give you exp which is great.

His Hammer....is alright? The delay makes it tricky, but IMO even with 100 CD, the lava wave is just better.

It's really good at stopping pushes though. Like extremely good. And it obliterates squishies.

The value for me is definitely in dropping it in a far lane when the team is busy and not having to waste a hearth/global for someone to just push the lane out. I definitely want to see how people eventually figure out its uses.

Only just listening to last weeks, and its a bit depressing.

Firstly, hearing pro's on THH say a new hero will be weak pretty guarantees they will be OP. Johanna, Leoric, Greymane - its a long list now.

Secondly, when they were discussing the different regions, they only talked about Na and Korea, and didn't even mention the fact that NA is noticeably the weakest of all 4 regions. They briefly mentioned the roster swapping, but wish they had gone into more depth on it - Erho's point that peoples fear of being kicked means they play more safely and don't try new things which weakens NA as a whole is probably a very good point. I cannot think of any NA team that would do what Dignitas did with AlextheProg when he joined them, and be happy with being humiliated at a regional event and still stick together and work on it till the team works.

Only got to play 1 game on Rag today before class (my final class EVER, just call me scabobos, MBA), and he's amazing. Not only is he fun to play, like crazy fun to play, but he's actually really good. The dream!

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Jake as a person, he just sucks at a host. And he fucking sucks at uploading to iTunes on a reasonable basis. I can almost guarantee he isn't as busy as Scott Johnson or the ITN guys that do tons of podcasts, but their episodes are ready to go in the morning when I wake up.

Yup. It's surprising how much damage his lava wave does if you're caught out in the brunt of it. If your character doesn't have a blink or movement ability, they are fucking toast.

Picking the level 1 talent that gives you extra regen through black souls, at 100 souls a regen globe gives you about 40% health/mana back. it's so stupid.

It's so so fun. Played a few as him tonight and was yelling about my sweet stunts. Q+E feels like a Stitches hook, and the W can actually close in on people for once. Loving him a lot more now! The earlier shields are nice as well.

I see that Illi gets shot by the Nova when the wave starts but..it's hard to believe the beginning spawn of a lava can chunk the Naz and Azmo that hard. The Naz is right at the very beginning of it too. Like the animation of the ground under Naz is barely even visible but he takes absolute full damage. Pretty scary ability.

Yeah I think the dark red part of it counts as part of the wave too. So it's a pretty huge area that hits.

Proto and I won a 41:20 game where we basically spent 20ish minutes hunkered down in our base because we had the bad Rag. The enemy team had a Nova who had 22 killing blows and basically shit on our team with abandon because we couldn't deal with her. Despite that, they never tried to end the game. Was kind of weird.

For some reason they all went top for a boss and our boss was up (Cursed Hollow), so we went for it. Finished at about the same time. Our dudes were gonna go back but I said "let's go, fuck it" in chat and pinged core.

We base raced em and won. Felt good man. That was Dread level shotcalling aka Dunk level shotcalling on the other team.

They get down all of our forts and keeps and we only have the mid fort down. We pretty much think it is over obviously because they're doing a push on us and we've barely won a fight all game. They have an Azmodan who splits for some reason right before the fight starts, I throw stim on my friend playing Valla and he goes nuts resulting in us wiping their group of four. We roll up through mid and take down the middle keep and take the core. And I hit 9 on Morales, yay for me!

Specialists aren't push heroes anymore, they are just 'weird' heroes. After all, Nazeepo'spush is fairly weak (and Medivh is just plain bad), whereas Kael and Jaina have some of the best wave clear in the game.

edit: yeah..just had my own late game lava enemy team wipe that secured the win.. i can't help but think a nerf will eventually come at the dmg numbers.

Nope, he's been in sports in the background for a long time for other games, and recently set up a company (Arcane8) for his Heroes work. No idea how the numbers look, but as much as I moan about THH that show and Jakes stuff is how I got into heroes essports so I have him to tank for that!

On other news, Ragnaors at 63% win rate now. At this rate he'll end up even higher than broken Samuro did. Rehgar and Diablo also up by 9% each...

Just popped in to say I need to catch up on some HotS. I saw the Winter Veil stuff and the Nazeebo skin is hilariously good. I've spent the last couple of nights setting up a new desk and G-Sync monitor (Asus PG248Q) and should have some time to actually play some stuff tonight.
