My salt levels are rising today, I shouldn't resort to old shit. Fucking inept teams with people feeding and standing around while I'm trying to enjoy the new hero god-fucking-damnit.

What's the consensus on non-slam build Stitches? Basically just an unkillable utility hero, with all the healing talents + increased hook range + putrid bile.

I just had a pretty successful match, and despite getting deleted by Ravenous Spirit (seriously, I didn't realize how much damage that thing does while still being able to move at high speed) and having to deal with a manticore Valla, I felt like they really had to focus me all at once to do anything. I can heal a shitload with just an E on anything.

Me and Prelude had a Murky earlier, I wasnt having that much trouble with him tbh (as Malth that is), just dont trade with him. Your dot still drains him, and like or 3 times Prelude just dunked him to finish him off when he realised "oh wait this guy isnt trading with me and im slowly dying". High mobile ranged squishies like Valla are a much bigger threat.

Whats the early consensus on Malth talents anyway? I tried on a pale horse once and it seemed kinda shit, the speed boost seems much better with such a short cd. The lvl 4 bottom talent (black harvest or something?) seems to be one of those "this is so mandatory that it should be base" no brainers.

For the ult, I dont like the aoe. Maybe if you have a healer (which I didnt in my 5 matches as Malth) its good if you can get in there more safely, but it still kinda feels like I can do the same in a TF with just a well placed E. The execute is at least just that, a guaranteed kill, and the in built quest to lower the cd makes it quite deadly late game.

As for the rest, I've been running slow on Q, the survivability tier is weird, I havent really locked on to any yet, crit dmg on the dot after 4 seconds seems like another must have, and at 20 I didnt really feel the ult upgrades and that instant res seems super useful. Maybe not if you fully wipe, but if its like both teams lost 3 members and now you can instantly come back when respawns are at 60 secs , that makes a big difference. Or if you do a silly trade because you know you can insta res, kinda like Diablo.

here's a silly thing, but do you reckon they nerfed the drop rate of those 3-day Stimpacks? I havent gotten any in weeks, and also didnt get any in the 29 boxes I was saving up for Malthael.

They used to drop like candy, I still have 1 month 22 days of stimpack left because of them, so I'm wondering if they sneakily nerfed them or even removed them all together (they were only rares so thats why they dropped so much).

Anyone seen any lately?

I've seen a 1-day stim in the last 10 boxes.

I got one a few days ago, helped me easily extend stimpack to get to the next gem drop which I'll use to get another 30 days.

I have seen it a little less but on the other hand i never saw it nearly as often as you appear to have.
 
Been spam queuing as Gul'Dan because that's the only hero I've found can actually trade with Malth and not get bullied out of a lane or fight by all of the lifesteal super quickly. Corruption and Drain Life have helped with nullifying his lifesteal. Have not had much luck with any melee heroes, 1v1 or in teamfights.

I've received three three day stimpacks in the 15 something boxes I opened yesterday.

I got a month worth on the PTR when 2.0 was on there. Got another 3 weeks or so extra from my account level loot boxes when 2.0 hit. I've only seen once since and I went from level 942 to 110 in that time, not counting bonus boxes from events and the like as well.

Raynor seems strong vs him. Low damage from trait, health gain from his sustain ability. And extra range to avoid him hitting you and he has no escape.

5 stacks arent even friends probably, just randoms grouping for events or from the lobby most of the time.

I got into a 4 stack and they were all arguing and I actually asked "arent you guys all grouped together?"

Right but to refuse to let 5 friends to play together in the most casual mode in the game of all places... seems dumb. There has to be groups allowed in the most popular mode. Think about it.

The matchmaker even matches groups against other groups first, so teams are relatively even. There is no problem here IMO.

My post was specifically saying its not a problem because when people say "omg 5 stack" they mean "they were on comms and shit" when its most likely not the case.

Yes team, the best time to go for the boss is right after two of your team retreated from pushing the enemy core, and the enemy team has seen you head towards the boss.
10/10 decision making.

Good luck getting away from Murky when he slimes you though. Then it's not really your choice if you want to trade with him or not. I can even chase down the teleport with speed on safety bubble and with toxic buildup Malth just dies real fast. I'm talking 1v1 here, if you have Azmo to save you then it's not going to be as much of a problem obviously. Even so it was generally my plan to stick to Malth in team fights as well to force him out and that worked fairly well.

I understand your pov, but feel like it would be detrimental to the health of the game to not let groups play together in the casual game modes. Your suggestions might help alleviate these issues but also drastically increase queue times making the game less enjoyable to play with friends which is a bigger problem.

There has to be a mode where you can play whatever hero you want, so forcing groups into draft modes will never happen, nor should it.

I actually think it would benefit the health of team league if they all funneled into it, considering everything bitches about queues in team league.

It does not matter if they have lower mmr to compensate! Perfect comps and comms vs no comms and shit comp = a win 95% of the time and then they typically BM to boot at the end of their 10 minute stomp.

I'm pretty sure they don't go to TL just because THEY don't want to get stomped by another 5 stack.

And they dont want to draft, or learn to draft. I mean, I find that incomprehensible as its a huge fun part of the game for me, but I know a lot of people don't want that complication.

I still think Quick match being removed and replaced with a form of blind pick would be best mind you.

I agree.... but it's quick match. I think we've been playing long enough to understand that the mode is literally there to enable exactly what you don't like about it. They should rename it to "shitshow" or make you check a box before you que that says "I understand that this has the potential to be totally fuckd".

I understand the frustration, I think some 5 mans form super comps and purposefully que on QM to get unfair games in their favor, and that shit is annoying and it just tells me that those people are douche lords. Buuuuuuut that's what QM is for, it's for you to be able to pick the most niche/OP/newest/never played before hero and get a match on that hero no matter what, consequences be damned. Because sometimes you just want to play Rexar, or Vikings, or medivh, or maltheal on the day he comes out, or 14 genji games in a row.... or 5 stack an illidan comp and shit on randoms.

If you don't want to do those things then there are at least 3 other modes to play where you won't have to put up with the shit show.

You might as well say Walmart needs a dress code.

Or complain that McDonald's is full of fat people and the food is bad for you.

We did do a 5 stack comp in QM a couple of times ... I agree it's not really ideal to have in QM but honestly, QM needs a revamp at the core.

I get what you're saying, ketch and scoobs, and that's why I'm also suggesting matching party sizes 100%. Having solo/duo/trio queues suffer because of coordinated 5 mans in QM is also unfair though.
QM is inherently unfair though, it's meant to be a crapshoot quick play mode. Adding more queue rules will only increase queue times thus kind of ruining the idea behind "quick match." Unranked draft was added for this very reason; a place for fair teams that isnt ranked play.
 
I've 0 issues with QM right now.

Thrall's rework kinda lost its luster when I realized I'm playing him pretty much identical to before.

Chain Lightning Follow Through spam. Only unique talent that makes me play different is thunderstorm at 16.
 
Only thing that bothers me in QP is when I get a team of 4 assassins and a specialist or something and the other team has a tank, healer, 2/3 assassins. How is it not balanced by roles at least?

Shouldn't happen, that would be a bug. There are mm rules for mirror healers, and mirror warriors.

How many games have you put in? I didn't like him after 3-4 games but he clicked and ooooooh boy he's SUPER strong. The nerfs are coming, and coming fast. The trait build is 900x better than the others. Not so shockingly, the Tormented Souls ultimate is 10% higher win rate than Last Rite's, that'll get nerfed into oblivion.

Hmm I'm not sure what happened then, we had Alarak, Malthiel, Li-Ming, Illidan and Valla I think and the other team was Zarya, Auriel, valeera, butcher and someone else. Couldn't do shit against them.
