So there was a news item about Horizon on the 8o clock (NOS) Dutch national news and a special about the game on a different channel.

There's an impressions thread as well where these things can go into, I'm surprised that there are so many pics posted in here. They aren't inherently spoilers, but it would be awesome for people to see these environments on their own. I've seen most of what's posted from playing the game, but I have to admit I would be disappointed if I saw all this in picture form before experiencing it myself.
All I'm saying. Some of these environments are gorgeous I understand, But dang let me experience it for myself. Click on the thread and it's a splash page for hi-res screen shots this is not an OT. Control yourselves!

That's why before I had the game in my hands and actually still now, I scroll past the pics really quickly. All I wanted to say is that some of these things have more weight when experienced on their own.

Bought a 13 ft charging cable for my Dualshock. No more "low battery" warnings for me. Now I can play this in peace.
I think it's interesting how all the ads are pushing the digital version and the Playstation Store. It's the first time I can recall seeing that.

It's a very rare thing to see a video game just translate its concept art SO WELL to the final product.
The fact they took art this rich, vibrant, and dynamic, and delivered it completely... my mind is still blown.

Waiting for this to drop in price is going to be torture, it looks so good. How long does it usually take console exclusives to drop in price? I don't use my PS4 much and usually buy games way after release or second hand but I don't want to wait too long for this one.

Depends on where you live and the success of the game. UC4 in the states took a while before it finally dropped in price.

It really depends on how it sells. Uncharted 4 has been barely discounted i think Horizon will be the same, this game will sell.

I've sunk about 10 hours into this game.
The graphics are absolutely surreal.
Fucking surreal. I'm playing at 1080p. One day when I get a 4k OLED tv, Horizon will be the first game I play.
This game might be the pinnacle of graphics on the PS4. I dunno.

Someone linked to the OG reveal trailer and you'll be surprised at just how close that is to the final product. They were obviously quite far along when they showed it. The creature designs were mostly locked and it looks just as good if not better.

I'm in the UK, I thought it might drop quicker as it's single player only, I don't mind waiting a little while but if it's going to be 6 months I might have to live on bread and water for a few weeks and just get it

God damn that .gif! So excited for this and zelda. I actually, just today, ordered a PS4 Pro and this game! My first PS4... So many games to catch up on! I'm honestly overwhelmed. Not even sure what to get with Horizon at this point. Overwhelmed, but so, so excited.
