Oh my god.

To those of you who watched the video I posted (after what happened at the end, not really spoilers):

I finally killed those two GIANT rock lizards. It was like a boss fight of its own. Some stormbirds showed up and were watching the fight, waiting for someone to lose. Then when I won they literally started lifting/pecking at that huge-ass rock lizard to take away my fucking prize!! I shot them down but they overwhelmed me. One of the birds got frozen solid by one of its comrades frozen energy shots. I broke it into pieces with a few spear smacks.

Lmao I LOVE THIS GAME

Im black and not personally offended, but I imagine you are just speaking friendly and as you would in the comfort of friends. That's cool, but you really need to reel it in, there's simply words you should never use mate.

Name me another story driven zombie game pre-2013 that emphasized stealth, resource management and third person shooting. If you do think of another, then points for you. But if that's the case, then name me another game that does nothing original but was heralded for its execution. TLOU is an anomaly, plain and simple and not every Sony publish game will match Naughty Dog. I remember when UC2, Sony said they wanted all their games to match it and what we got was GoW: Ascension, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, LBP 2, Twisted Metal, StarHawk, etc. No matter your personal tastes, you can't deny that they didn't leave a noticeable mark on the industry. It wasn't until TLOU that Sony had another AAA game that matched UC2. In short, the existence of TLOU has no impact on the quality of Horizon. It needs to stand on its own and distinguish itself from every other open world action game.

OMG OMG OMG HOLY SHIIIIT!!! I don't need quests, this world is amazing.

I am walking along and I hear explosions. I see a t-Rex fighting a bunch of guys and a giant bull is in the mix. The bull charges me but not cause it saw me but because another NPC guy set a trap and lured it over and he stunned it, i overrid it and now it charges after the trex. Now this is like a scifi epic, this t-Rex has insane weapons, fucking drones starting flying through the air raining down lasers on everyone. Explosions everywhere! A bull is being thrown around, people dying. The trex is being ripped apart piece by piece. I manage to hit the disc launcher and it falls Which I could pick up and now I am shooting giant killer discs at This thing, it tries to attack me so I need to drop the launcher and go running. Another bull is attacking the tree, its shooting a super laser. Now fucking ravagers show up and they are firing fireballs at everything, i am running for dear life and get gunned down by who knows what.

Total amazing chaos!!!!!! And I saved the video.

I only jumped on to do a few screen grabs, so hard to tell ATM. I did notice right away there was a bit of a difference

I really didn't want to redo the intro, but looks like I am for both system so I can do a side by side recording

The terms you were using were being thrown around tastelessly and people didn't know your background. "Pepper" or "colours" for black people and stuff. Though it was more HOW you were saying it than WHAT you were saying. It came off as pretty disrespectfu/careless both ways.

This embargo time really conflicts with me having to be up by 7:00 for 8:00 classes :(

So happy Guerrilla seems to have nailed the combat, as impressions on that seem most consistent.

There is a video Embargo, I am re-recording the intro but that can't go live until the game launches I believe.

I should be able to post screengrabs though

I gotta a lot of work today cause I have another video showcasing it's dynamic lighting

The emphasis on speed and offence, in contrast with Dark Souls emphasis on slow gameplay and defence, are big deals IMO. Also, I emphasized the Play aspect of it since level design is of similar breed. Nevertheless, Ok let's say I was stretching for it here, what about the rest of the cases I made. I repeat, I don't have unreasonable expectations for Horizon, I'm cautiously optimistic about it. It seems to me like many of you have unreasonable expectations for it, so I would like to ask, what do you expect from Horizon and do you think that it warrants the push that Sony has given this game?

How about God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Devil May Cry 4, Assassins Creed 2, and so on and so forth. You're really cherry picking games that fit your narrative especially when several of the series you high lighted have other games that did leave a huge mark on the gaming world without being original. There are a metric fuckton of games that don't do anything new and just have incredibly well executed stories, gameplay, etc.

I think this game is going to have a 90+ Metacritic. Not that it matters. But I think reviewers are gonna fall in love with it.
