Yeah downsampling and some other differences, depending on the effort of devs.
It's actually more a great 1080P machine than a 4K machine imo. But devs DO need to offer downsampling.
The only expectation Sony has really stated for Horizon is for it to be the next big Sony franchise, the next Uncharted pretty much, which they said at PSX on stage, and I feel like they've said that in interviews.

Ok...that is a good thing, and it is probably for good reason, it is clearly going to review well. It is sony's job to do this. Should they not market their games and try to create franchises or something?

And if you read the impressions it really looks like this game is redefining (or joining Dragons Dogma) what can be expected from a open world game combat system.

Here at Brazil we have the Carnival next week, a 5 day holiday of stupidity, drunk people and terrible music dissemination.

I think this is on the same level, they've been pushing Horizon in everyones throath. I mean, it's a really good thing but I'm kinda surprised, it makes sense but it surprise me.

Neither of those links say anything about the future of WRPG combat or anything close. They're just articles about Sony is excited for Horizon and considers/hopes its their next big franchise.

UC4 had advertisement on Amazon packages I ordered. UC4 was definitely bigger.
It makes sense because UC was an established franchise. While they have big hopes for Horizon and they are promoting it well in general, they want to make sure Horizon sticks before they go all out with it like UC.

Well, maybe I don't remember that much, you could be right. It has been the most marketed game coming from Sony aside U4, concede me that at least.
Again, my point is that there are big hopes on this game. I think it's going to deliver on all fronts.

Didn't read anything in there to corroborate your strawman - that Sony thinks it's better than all the WRPG out there and will redefine the genre and all that. The WRPG comment was about what others were saying in this thread, AKA it has no bearing on these articles which are about what SONY wants from this game. If Nintendo came out and announced a new IP that will represent their future, expectations are raised. Same thing here. And let's say Horizon does nothing new while still being a solid/great game, which you seem to believe it will, what does that say about the system its publisher wants it to represent. Hey, buy a PS4 and play our skinned up Far Cry game.

He said working on the Horizon review made him look back at the Killzone Shadowfall reviews and he thinks there were a lot of forgiving reviews for the game.
GG has taken even more steps back from Shadowfall. 5/10.
Philip Kollar like Horizon types of games so I'm expecting high review score from him.
