So this game is going to widen fictional characters how? Ffs, in a post GoT, SW ep7 and Rogue One, Hunger Games, Frozen, TLOU world how is Horizon anything special. It doesn't even fit the left wing agenda since, it didn't have the balls to make its main character white and even if it did, I would like to think that politics have no say on the quality of any work of art. Guess what, The Great Dictator would have been great with or without its any anti-fascist agenda, Do The Right Thing will continue to be great 100 years even if the whole wide world becomes a Liberal Utopia where everyone is equal, The Blind Side will continue to be shit until the end of time, etc. Political agendas have no influence on the artistic quality qualities of a work.

4K TV or 1080p?

I'll be playing on a 1080p monitor on a PRO. Hopefully it'll look God tier.

Also, what're your thoughts on the Cities and towns? Are they interesting and large enough to explore around in?

How were the
dungeons? Did they feel traditional with puzzles and such?

There's so much to pick on here - but this: you're saying that output from the last 6 years now makes female protags "the norm", when even in the last 6 years the minority of film/game fiction has them? And ignoring the decades upon decades of male dominated/unrepresentative works?

Actually the majority of creatures are based off modern animals. Crocodiles...salamanders....gazelle...bulls...panthers....etc.

But yeah there are some Dino-like ones

I mean as far as open world games go, the setting, the world, the gameplay, this is top tier for me. Like super high up there. It's still an open world games though and has some of those genre caveats.

The lore politics are really well-thought out. The tribes feel very culturally different. It is starting to remind me a little bit of the races from something like Star Wars.

Exactly, but be careful man, Horizon can't make it's mark unless it redefines the genre or something lol.

Horizon could sell like GTA5 and it won't kill Zelda. The whole this game is this established franchise killer is stupid and click baity.
Horizon and Zelda could and will co-exist nicely.

Does a 1080p TV benefit from a Pro?

Maybe not the right thread; but specifically for this game for instance... is there a certain set of "graphical options" geared towards a Pro running at 1080p?

I will never understand how a new IP that is a post-apocalyptic game set 1000 years into the future where machines have taken over is somehow Zelda related for comparisons...

First it was Halo killer with Killzone, now it's Zelda killer with Horizon. Leave GG alone.

Hey moron, see that S at of end "posts". You do, Good. It's there for a reason. Also, guess what, I never refuted that the Combat will be better than Witcher or Skyrim as if that's anything to write home about.
