I wasn't personally so I've been pretty blown away overall. Only saw the first reveal trailer with the battle.

Ok I'll bite.

I' ve been looking forward to the game since the concept art reveal, because it ticks so many boxes with me (I grew up on Robo dinos, kickass redheads and Sci Fi, both Post Apoc and non).
Everything I've seen so far has reinforced my idea that I will love the game.
The action and combat look as good as they come, strong sci fi narrative, strong rpg elements, mounts, open world with dynamic weather and day/ night cycle, lore, etc.

It being an exclusive has literally nothing to do with it, I'm just happy it happens to release on a platform I have.

I watched the two E3 trailers and that was basically it. I wasn't really hyped for the game because life and other games distracted me. I was so focused on hype for zelda that this game and the opportunity to buy it early sneaked up on me. I'm so glad I got this game to hold me over until zelda :)

Apparently you're not allowed to be hyped about any game anymore because of nms. I guess people being dissapointed about one game nullifies every game before and after nms that people were hyped about that ended up great.

I simultaneously don't want it to end but they've also been keeping me on the edge (of new answers and questions) for so long and it's lasting longer than I expected.

I'll never understand what people have against people actually being excited for a video game. Is it really just because it's not on their system of choice? So weird.

Anyway, I'm going to bed and will wake up ready to read some reviews and eat some crackers.

Probably been answered, but what's the armour variety like? Is there a lot of difference types or mostly just the same with different stats?

Not fair to compare this to NMS considering that game was smoke and mirrors and this game has done a decent job at sampling its content


Anywho, more than anything, I want this to be a starting off point. Dont care much for the game unless it prove to have surprising depth, but I think it will be a combat heavy Open world RPG and lack the RPG elements I crave. Thats the impression so far if Im not mistaken

I also am really hopeful but doubtful of the storytelling and mystery, and I hope GG doesnt blow their load by revealing a ton of mystery. There was some hype about "new vegas and witcher devs" but im unsure that will substantiate into what we hope

But that would only work if those posting it in every thread would actually be there to discuss and not to concern troll.

I think it will lack the RPGs elements I crave but I think I'll still love the game. I'd just love it more if it were a deep rpg too. But I will expect a weak rpg and be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong (but don't think I will cause what I keep hearing) rather than hope for a good rpg and when/if my hope doesn't pan out, spend the game disappointed rather than enjoying the game for what it is.
