How will you feel if the overworld theme isn't in the new Zelda?

Remember when Zelda 64 came out and it didn't have the overworld theme? Well, we fans sure taught Nintendo to think twice before doing that again! But...what if? What if, God forbid, the overworld theme isn't in the new Zelda? How will you feel? What will you do?

I, for one, will kill myself.
 
Won't mind it much at all, since I'll probably buy it like three years from now and let it sit unplayed when I do.

I don't know, 'cause I just buy the Zelda games. I don't play them. Well, eventually I will.
 
I will cry all night and wait for a rainy night so I can run out and kneel in a deep puddle and yell WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in slow motion.

Also, can I have your games if you die, Andrew?

IMO they should scrap each and every track from past Zelda games and bring us a totally new score. Oh, and the OoT overworld theme is better than the "classic" zelda theme, so there.
 
If the overworld theme isn't in the new Zelda, I would feel angry. So angry that I would come on GAF, and start a thread expressing my anger. Yeah.... that's about it though. :D
 
i just hope they do the popular thing and have some fake angst ridden middle class american "punk pop" band singing something reaaaally clever like "The Green Warrior walks!" instead.

i've bought all of EA's games recently, and that style of music NEVER gets old! EVER - i could listen to it all day.

It would also show that Nintendo is manur... i mean "mature" !

(in all seriousness, i expect a full ochestral version of the original - surely they've noticed how popular these recent concerts are?!?)
 
Man, Nickelback over a fast-cut CG opening would really start the new Zelda off WITH A BANG!

Zelda 64 just had that dumb horse riding around and there was hardly any music at all--BORING!

and no I don't care about the theme that much... but shoot me if the cover art and disk is not GOLDEN :p

seriously like an epic like Zelda 2005 would be lacking the theme meh

I am trying to imagine a state of depression so severe that playing The Bouncer actually improves your outlook on life.
 
I'd be pissed off if they just used the plain overworld theme since im sick of it. They should at least remix it a bit, but whatever happens I'm sure the overworld theme will be good anyway.

Getting out my old copy does at least remind me, in times of hardship, that it's been worse. Like three hours after I bought The Bouncer for 9000 yen when I was living on an 8-man per month stipend...
 
Maybe the MINIBOSSES could play the overworld theme on their awesome distorted guitars! 'Cause loud, distorted guitars make any song sound better! Yes, truly there is no song in the history of gaming that does not sound better when ground out on incredibly loud, overly distorted guitars!! MRRWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

I don't plan to play it, I plan to sell it on eBay as "Andrew Vestal's collection RARE LQQK" and use the money I get from it to fill my bathtub with cocaine. I think it just might help stop the tears from flowing.

They never really sound much like the classic overworld theme anyway, may as well just let the composers make what they want.
 
there is nothing that could possibly dissapoint me more than a short, faintly annoying melody loop written in 1986 not being in my 2005 video game. who needs anything new?
