I get it, to a degree for sure. I like them all. I tend to appreciate gameplay over story now in my old age. I loved Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, and love RPGs (and last of us 1), but I think pure games like hollow knight and Zelda and Mario are essential. To each their own.And that's fine. To each their own. I like the more mature tones of The Witcher, CyberPunk, Clair Obscur, The Last of Us, etc. type stories. You don't get those with Nintendo games.
If I'm playing an open world racer, I prefer a more realistic setting. Forza appeals to this. MK cartoon does not.
I want complexity in my RPGs. Nintendo doesn't offer this.
This is all fine, by the way. It's very child appropriate. It just doesn't appeal to me as an adult.
