Just unpin the priceline thing, i think its literally just a shortcut to a browser. There isnt any registry entry for it as a program.

It was the first thing I tried. Unpin. Then Uninstall. It just keeps coming back, and I even manually deleted the Wiz.exe or whatever it was.
Even crazier, when I go to Unpin it now, the only option is Pin To Start.
I also followed the manual path recommend above and it was not in that folder at all.
It is a little bit scary that some people can do something on this PC and others cannot. That alone leads me to lean towards I feel like I have to do a clean install of Windows 10.
EDIT - PRICELINE IS GONE.
I chose More, Open File Location, and that finally took me to the folder it was in. Why I could not manually go to that folder I am not sure. IT IS GONE!!!!!

Just a screw or two, disconnect the power to the Geforce and it comes right out. It also has an earth connected to one of the screw in points that goes to the case exterior, I reconnected that.

The reason I know what it was named is I did enable DropBox as I do use it, and 25GB is 25GB. I got an email from DropBox and it said the original name.

Ooh, finally made it to my city. As I said before I got impatient and switched to pickup at a fedex location so hopefully I can swing by and get it first thing tomorrow morning rather than waiting until the end of the day for it to make it to my apartment. Either way it's looking good I'll finally get the thing, so excited!

Mine jumped from El paso on Tuesday to Iowa on Weds to here on Thursday. So I assume it'll make it to you by Saturday certainly. I'm pulling for you though, I feel the pain of the wait.
It took one day from El Paso to Houston for me.
Of course typical FedEx for me. Says delivered today at 4:44pm with signiture DPATEL (who?) and there ain't shit here at my house. Going to wait a day before I make some calls.

I got played like a damn fiddle! Received an email from HP that my order had shipped yesterday and it is tracking for a Friday arrival. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the weight of the shipment shows as 2.7 lbs. I'm pretty sure they sent only the wireless keyboard/mouse I ordered along with the PC 😑
Joke is on both of us since HP probably paid more for the shipment of that keyboard than it was worth. Either way, I'm currently resetting my expectations of it arriving this weekend.

Doesnt make sense as the whole package is a single box and not separate.
Also this thing is beastly. Holy shit finally loaded up Witcher 3. Everything maxed things doesnt slow at all. I think this is the first PC ive owned that was able to max out new games at 60fps. Ive always had high end PCs but like, a 770 instead of a 780 or something.
Probably a typo mine says it weighs 27lbs
Anyways I did some detective work and turns out my computer was left at a motel down the street. I just went there and the owner told me she had already called FedEx to come pick it back up tomorrow. I asked for it but she wouldn't give it scared I could be someone else. So I let her return it and it should be at the right address by the end of the week. I trust her since this happened once before with a printer at the same motel.

I'm new to PC gaming so can anyone rec me a monitor and chair (sub-300)? Oh, and how should I go about updating drivers?
The temps for the cpu have been pretty low for me. Idle they are in the 20s, and under load i think the most ive got is 75. My 4770 would get a bit higher in the other pc.

Well, me using Star Wars Battlefront on this new PS as a visual test is over. I returned it just now. Gotta love Origins Good Game Guarantee. You can return a game within 7 days of purchasing it and/or within 24 hours of first launch. Today was the first launch (I almost installed it on my old PC, glad I did not).
People were not kidding when they said the game itself is dead during the week. it took me almost 10 minutes to find a game and when I did it was only a large battle one. Not my scene, especially since everyone else playing has been doing so for months.
About to install Crysis 3. Already installed BF4, Titanfall, CS:GO and CS:Source, and a few Humble Bundle titles I never got to check out.
I am kinda struggling trying to find games I should install. Which is kind of crazy.

Acer XB270HU. I found it for like $700 if you are patient you could probably get it for a bit less. I bought it because I know it will last a long time, technology-wise.
Did you do a lot of research? Thinking of picking up a gsync monitor up.

There's not many choices for gsync 1440P IPS, but yes the monitor is well liked with low input lag as an IPS goes. I read a bunch of reviews on Tftcentral. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xb270hu.htm
I decided that if I was gonna drop 600 I might as well drop 700 and get the ips over the TN.
If you go TN there are a couple more gsync 1440p monitors to choose from including a Dell. I like the IPS for the extra color accuracy.
EDIT: I also downloaded Tft Central's color profile settings and used them for my machine. I like the result though it's not exactly perfect given the differences from machine to machine.

I am a pretty traditional gamer I would say. I play a lot of FPS's, Third Person Shooters, platformers. I will try "experimental" games. Also dig racing games. Dig horror games. I really like a lot of different stuff.
I do not really play RPG's (one of the PC's specialties) or RTS's (also one of the PC specialities), so I think that is a big part of why I was struggling. If you like either of those genres, PC is where it is at no doubt.
It just seemed like if it was a game I was interested in last night perusing the Steam store or the Origin store, I already played it on one of the consoles. Just obviously not at the better settings the PC has to offer. I just expected there would be more "exclusives" on the PC.
With that said, I should have added I believe part of the reason I was also struggling so much to find something is my Steam backlog alone is so massive. I have supported basically every Humble Bundle since it has launched. So I have a shitload of games I never played all of which I am not sure if they are good or not. It was also being so overwhelmed with the amount of games.
I went to bed so just let it install. Will let you know tonight or over the weekend. I have to imagine it is going to be very good.
From what I played yesterday Arma 3 runs well, Star Citizen is unoptimized gahbage. But it's an alpha so I dunno.
I've played alot, 1440p Galaxy, Skyward, Calibur 2, perfect frametimes. very macktastic.
also the cpu cooler for 6700k is good. to the guy who was asking about that, quiet too.
The XB271HU is their newer model. It goes up to 165hz with G-Sync, has HDMI support along with DisplayPort, and has 4 USB 3.0 ports as well. The bezel and design is different too.
Clean installed Windows 10 on mine last night as first thing but have gotten intermittent black screens with my dell monitor on DisplayPort. I've read about this issue before but assumed it would be fixed by now. When it happens I have to unplug monitor power to reset. I wonder which side is to blame.

Looking that over, I see there is another model, the PB278Q
Is it the PB278Q just does not include speakers but is more or less the same monitor, or is there a difference between the two that gives the MX27AQ the edge?
Also I see there are a few Beta's this weekend. Rainbow Six Seige. Battleborn. Doom.
I think I will check all of them out if possible.
Also an Overwatch beta but one needs to have already signed up for that one. Would have liked to get in that one the most.
Finally, I will be checking out UT4 to see how that is shaping up these days.
I've actually been using that monitor with this system. It's nice but for the price you should save a bit more and get a 144hz monitor or something with a better response time. Minimal frame design is very nice, colors are great. Haven't seen any crushed blacks so I'm assuming the contrast is nice. Using the DisplayPort gave me a lot of trouble surprisingly. Would constantly go black and re-discover the active input until I switched it off and back on. It doesn't seem to like it when you make video changes in games that restart the signal feed. Requires further inspection.
System wise I'm very happy. Runs great, no heat issues so far. Been playing Elite Dangerous at 1440p on Ultra and super sampled with over 60 fps. Very nice. Did some ZBrush work with the document set to native 1440 res and while there are tearing issues, the CPU and ram are handling complex re meshing and high poly counts very nicely. Great purchase so far.

Mine just arrived, and I'm excited to set it all up! I've decided to just do a clean install of windows 10 so I don't have to deal with tracking down all of the useless shit installed on it right now. It should be fine to do without losing any important programs, correct?
Thinking about this deal. Is overclocking out of the question without buying a new heatsync? Also, is anyone else worried about the longevity of this machine (I've bought some pretty bad HP products that died early on)? My current computer has lasted about 6-7 years and I think it's getting close to being done soon.
