I saw this mech anime in Chinese, but I'm not sure if it's from Japan or China. The main character are a guy and a girl. The guy has a mech, but the girl don't have one (I think). She kind of tacked along and does all the shopping with someone else. She would ask the main male character for money. This is the vaguest I can be.

I remember watching this martial arts movie on VHS as a kid. It was Asian film dubbed into English but I can't tell any specific part of Asia. There were a bunch of kids on rollerblades, there was the token girl, and they may or may not have been fighting mobsters, and eating pizza.

So there's this Bugs Bunny cartoon that involves him and 5 buzzards. 4 of the buzzards are the sons of a momma buzzard (who has some weird accent) and tasks them with bringing back food. The first three are badasses and come back with something, while the third says "DOH DOH DOH MAMMA" or something like that.

What is the name of this cartoon and who is the third buzzard mimicking? I know they often would reference comedians or 'bits' in cartoons, but I never understood this one.

edit: Should have just consulted google for the name - Bugs Bunny gets the Boid. Anyone know who they're imitating?

I have to try this here... Have been curious to see where I got this memory from. Buggign me for many years.

This is a animated 2D series/movie I saw on cable here in Norway when I was really young. What I can rememeber is this:

- 80's
- Teenager with blonde hair
- Some kind of dagger that with (mental?) skill could expand into a sword. Might be made of energy, not sure.
- The humans are slaves and work in the mines below ground
- I remember a part where he is in a tunnel and a bunch of leaches fall on him and attach themself to his body.

Hopefully that can help anyone figuring out what it is. Thank you!

I have two here:

1. In one scene I distinctly remember a character pouring a liquid of some sort over a picture in a magazine of a model. The problem was I think it was only the top half of the model and the model in the picture in the magazine comes to life.

2. A guy who lives in an apt starts seeings things in his head all the time. One I distinctly remember is him dressing up and fighting a huge spider which turns out to be a garbage truck in reality.

I don't remember much of this movie (or tv series?), except it being a bit overboard - So i am spoiler tagging it, as the description might be offensive or too cruel for some.

In this movie, i remember 2 gangsters breaking into the victims house. They tie up the Mother, Father and I believe the daughter hides in the closet. While the father is laying on the ground, they rape the mother and he can see it. They afterwards stab the mother several times, and then stab him leaving him for dead. I think the daughter was found in the closet later on, and is the clue to solving who the killers were, or maybe she was killed as well, i dont remember. The father survived I think. Not sure :p

Brahs I need help finding this song. It is an 80's synth song that sounds in a similair style of the "Oh Yeah" song from ferris Beuller. . This song was on the movie Grosse Pointe Blank with John Cusack and played during the high school reunion for about 10 seconds on the dance floor. It is not featured on the two soundtracks released for the film and I can't find full a track listing that would appear in the ending credits. Also this song was also featured on a season 2 Gilmore Girls episode where Jess leaves STars Hollow and plays during Kirk's short film. Thank you.

horror movie from the late 80s/early 90s (i think--i'm judging from my memory of the quality of the pictures on the box, so keep your guesses broad) about some sort of evil psychologist or doctor. the box had a seductive lady on it. the back had someone in a bizarre fantasy being licked by a giant tongue.

what the hell is this?

It's probably not this, but maybe it is due to some of the fogginess of your memory...

Oh, this is a good one. I think I can "see" the box you are talking about.

I hope someone solves this one soon.

This was brought up in a thread for the science fiction movie In Time with Justin Timberlake, but it's driving me nuts. I watched a movie with a similar concept back in the early to mid 90s on late night HBO or Cinemax.

The movie was about a world where people can pay off things with time, like the new movie.

I only remember one scene: the protagonist's sister is drunk and gambling in a bar/casino and falls into the hero's arms and he realized she's wasted all her time gambling. She dies in his arms.

If anyone listens to XM radio at all (Octane station)... or just 'rock', or whatever genre this is, in general - there is a song that I heard for the first time fairly recently that the main line goes "... the FIRE!" and I can't remember the name (Fire, The Fire?) or who sings it.

Any ideas?

Actually it's called "That Fire" by Black Tide. Just happened to see this when I was watching a different video on youtube :O

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet, but I'm having trouble remembering this show that was on TV when I was younger. All I that can vaguely remember is that the show was all claymation -- though the environment may have been real -- and was about creatures living under a bed. I vaguely remember one of the main character being a green alien or something.

You're welcome.

I also have one to figure out. It was a North American animated TV series from the mid 90s about two men who hosted a sports show. I don't think it was for children, might have been more of a late evening aired show. I only remember one episode where all the major sports went on strike so the characters tried everything they could to fill time. One scene had them airing little league baseball, only for the kids to go on strike because they weren't getting paid.

I'm curious about this.

There was an anime (or even anime-style) cartoon on Fox Kids (I'm from the UK if that helps) around the time of Pokémon. I believe it worked like Pokémon where everyone had one of these creatures, and they could eventually evolve into larger beasts. I also remember it featured some kind of time-traveling aspect, I think to save them?

I'm not wanting to watch it since I'm not a big lover of anime, but for some reason it's bugging the hell out of me.

It was a cartoon my 8th grade Algebra teacher put on near the end of the year. It looked like it was from the 60's or 70s. It had a fanciful style of art that kind of reminded me of schoolhouse rock I think. There was this girl, and she was stuck in some magical land and she had to cross some forest or swamp that saps your memory and she's traveling with these three companions.

I don't know if her name was Melancholy or if the Place was called the land of Melancholy or if it really is the title source for 'Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness', but I can't remember this animated film. GAF?

I remember watching a cartoon/anime a few years back in the UK, it may have been on Cartoon Network/Fox Kids/Jetix? It was around the time when Dragon Ball and the like where getting aired more.

Basically there was a male and female lead and they got in to fights a lot. I think the main objective for the male was to collect pieces of 'souls' which then powered his sword up and changed the way it appeared.
(I'm fairly certain this was the main plot point.)

Other tidbits:
I'm quite sure the female had guns of some description to fight with too.
There might have been a animal mascot... thing.
The 'souls' could have just been spheres, I just remember them collecting them.
There were bad guys.

This has bugged me for a while now, I'd just like an idea of what it could be.

Flint the Time Detective maybe?
Part of the show featured these things called Time Shifters that looked like little creatures and could occasionally turn into bigger monsters.

Ok I don't know if anyone can help as I have very little information to give here...

Basically about 20 years ago I was reading one of my older brother's graphic novels... all I can remember about it was I think it was about rubbish super heros, and right at the end they're all falling down from quite high up, one of them tries grabbing on to a pole sticking out from a building to try and stop himself but he's falling so fast that he just ends up ripping his arms off. That's all I have.

GAF please help me find this song.

It's a dance tune from the late 90s/early 00s, most likely european, probably from the UK.

I can remember parts of the music video: it concurrently shows a guy and and a girl heading out to a party from separate locations (via splitscreen) and as the guy leaves his apartment building, he urinates on the nearby bushes or the side of the building (a bit hazy on this detail).

Parts of the lyrics might go something like this: "I've got to let you go, I've got to let you go... ", and "holding me, holding me..." repeated several times.

I've had bits of this stuck in my head for years but sadly my google-fu has failed me so far. I'm counting on someone maybe actually remembering it? Thanks.

Pretty certain you're referring to Soul Eater. Great show.
Only thing that doesn't match is that the person with guns was a guy, not a girl.

correct about everything
I have two movies that I saw ages ago, but have no idea what they're called, and could never find them with google, so any help is appreciated.

One is some kind of an action movie, with two good guys. There's some kind of agents who wear body armor so they can only be killed by being shot in the head. One of the good guys has been bitten by a bug, and he complains about the bite all the time, but it turns out to be a tracker that the bad guys use to find them. At the end they throw some kind of an evil business man out of a window of an office building.

The other I remember even less about. All I remember is two girls on some field or in a forest having a picnic and some dude killed them and threw them in a river. The other girl he killed by hitting her with a huge tree branch, after she yelled something along the lines of "god will punish you." I think I saw it on TV sometime in the 90s, but I just remember that one bit and it still annoys me occasionally for not remembering where it's from. I'm not even certain was it a movie or a TV show.

My dad and I were talking about some movie where they would use diamonds in guns to create death rays or something like it, and there were apes. That's about all I know.

Hmmm...could this be the 1970 movie adaptation of The Phantom Tollbooth?

Some of the details that you cite don't match up (the main character in Phantom Tollbooth is a boy), but at one point early on in the movie, he passes through a swampy area called the Doldrums (fairly close to your "melancholy" memory). He also travels to a math-themed kingdom called Digitopolis, which would explain why you were watching it in algebra class.

Here's a portion of the movie that contains the Doldrum section: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmfIDSU_f3Q

A cartoon from the 90s that was set in Africa. I believe the main character's were a young boy and a rabbit who was able to talk. The only reason I remember this cartoon was because in one episode the rabbit broke the fourth wall, and that was the first time I had ever seen something like that.

The second thing that I'm trying to remember is an arcade game (again, from the 90s) that had dinosaurs in it. The only thing that I remember from this game was that at one point you could take control of a pterodactyl and it became a side scroll shooter.

I remember seeing this 80's zombie movie when I was like 7 or so. I only remember bits and pieces of it. A guy and girl go to this abandoned gas station, they're on the run from zombies, and the girl takes an axe to a zombie and chops it's head vertically. You get a frontal view of the head split.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's not Night of the Creeps, btw.

Are you sure you aren't misremembering a scene from the original DAWN OF THE DEAD?

Sounds like the refueling scene, but with an axe substituted for a helicopter.

Oh no, I'm not. I've seen that movie a shit load of times and i remember almost every detail about it. This was an 80's or early 90's movie. No doubt about it. The two characters were teenagers as well.

I need help to find a movie:
I only can remember one scene and I don't know if that movie was american or european.
The scene was in a bathroom school where some boys were bothering/bullying another one and they put a firecracker inside this boy ass. I remember that movie was slightly hard and seemed a bit old but it was on color.

Many thanks in advance.
