Is Aliens a good game if I've never seen the movies? It looks fun.

I never seen them before playing it and thought the game was absolutely fantastic. No prior knowledge is needed to enjoy the game.

Edit: in response to the above 2 comments, I watched the movies after playing the game. It made the first 2 movies feel like the best video game adaptation movies ever. 3rd and 4th movies were crap though. Again, you don't have to watch the movies before playing. In fact, I probably enjoyed it as much as I did because I didn't watch them.

Teslagrad is gorgeous.

Aqua Kitty has cute art and good music, the sprites are so small on Vita though!

Soldner on Vita is nice as well. Is Nom Nom Galaxy fun?

You guys remind me of my friend who literally slapped me because I admit I've never watched the Indiana Jones films. Lol, ok message received.

Make sure you also buy the game on sale to play right after watching them! ;)

Is Borderlands 1 worth playing or should I jump right into Borderlands 2 ?

It's 6 CAD. I'm really tempted ... Is it a mainly co-op game or is it still enjoyable in single player ?

In general, I'd say skip BL1. There are some characters in both (namely, playable characters in #1) which, depending on who you become attached to, has some compelling moments in BL2 that might not have the same weight otherwise.

that said, the plot in BL1 is thread bare and very undercooked... whereas BL2 has fantastic characters and plot.

Has anyone taken advantage of the play 2015 offer and gotten their 10% off code already? Read the fine print and it said they'd send the code by 9/1, so I'm guessing I won't be able to use it here.

Nope only in September and can be used for a month.

I got alot of games from the flash sale and other sales running on PSN :D.
-Hyperdimension Neptuina Rebirth 2
-Gradius Collection
-Power Stone Collection
-Street Fighter Alpha 3
-Soldner-X2 Final Prototype Vita

Between those games alongside many other games already in my backlog (LBP Vita, Tales of Hearts R, Shovel Knight, ect), will be gaming on my Vita for quite a while XD.

For anyone on the fence, Rebirth 2 is a sold JRPG if you enjoyed prior Neptuina games :). The game fixes the difficulty curve issue that Rebirth 1 had, the humor is just as enjoyable as the original (if you enjoyed that games humor like I did :D) and the story is more 'serious' at points which gives things greater significance and importance. And one extra ending in the game (which you get if Neptunes 'Shares' are over 50% by the end of the game) is something you would not expect at all in the game.

A solid game and one that I highly recommend for anyone interested in JRPGs :).

I bought Metal Gear Rising, Borderlands Pre-Sequel, and Ar Nosurge (though I regretted this one immediately when I saw that the physical edition was the same price at my Gamestop.)

You are in for a treat :D!

I got the game early this year at a good price and I loved my playthrough of it :'). Even made an LTTP of the game I enjoyed it so much :D.

Once you start fighting Metal Gear Ray, the game just explodes right in your face and everything kicks off. One of the stronger action games of the PS3/360 generation and I hope you have a blast playing it :).

Thanks. I just need to find some time to play it with my backlog.

Your backlog can wait man XD!

Boot up Rising after you download it and kill the rest of the weekend by playing through the game :). Its not super long (about 6-8 hours tops) but its well, well worth your time.

Just a tip for whenever you get around to playing the game; the final boss's 'Blade Mode' sections (where you are going be cutting up objects that are about to hit you) aren't needed; just use Ninja Run to the left/right of you and you can avoid it. That is a point of the game where your Blade Mode requires a level of precision that the game's controls just doesn't offer; you will die alot of you attempt to do that :l.

Not a spoiler or anything, but a tip to make the final boss even more enjoyable then it already is :).

Decided to get Another World, Gradius Collection, and Resonance of Fate. Own a lot of other things already and tempted on something like Bit.Trip Runner 2 since portability and I never finished the game on PC. Is there any reason to pick up MGR Ultimate Edition as well considering I own it on 360 and PC? I assume the PC version includes all the suit DLC anyway.

I've also discovered when looking at things on sale that PSN has decided I don't own SF Alpha 1, 2, and 3 anymore. I have a email receipt saying I bought them, but now I just don't. Gone from my download list on the site, but they are there on my Vita although the picture and text are slightly broken. I was able to redownload them as a test, but it's weird nonetheless. Signing out and back in as the usual fix didn't work either to make them reappear on the site as fixed. Hopefully this corrects itself somehow.

Edit- Fixed itself. Somehow.

Been eyeing Teslagrad since it first came on WiiU. Well get. Not sure soit anything else. I further have it or not too interested....maybe borderlands...

Wow. I wish I knew that when I played it. I hated that part.

I skipped out on RoF last sale after reading that the 360 version has a more stable framerate. it was $10 then - at $5, who cares about framerate? bought.

Just bought Gradius, Jamestown and SFA2 from the knockout sale.

But SFA2 don't appear in my download list (the other ones are fine), and when I try to buy SFA2 again, says "you are not elegible to buy or download this content". When I try to download via vita (the "buy" button shows "download"), the store glitches.

Help?

So is the season pass worth the extra $$$ that this bundle costs? I was waiting for Alien to go like, sub-$20 just because I'm on a bit of a budget, but if the season pass stuff is good and I'd want to buy it anyway now is the time I'd imagine.

Everyone buy Bulletstorm if you've never played it. At that price you owe it to yourself. Game has that old school FPS feel of just running and gunning.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on Borderlands Ultimate. I've never played any of the games and was going to get the Handsome Collection at some point, but I don't think there will be a better time to get the original.

What time is it?
Resonance of Fate, Bulletstorm, Metal Gear Rising, Raiden IV Overkill, Gradius Collection and Jamestown+ for me.

Also picked up Street Fighter Alpha 2-3 and Pocket Fighter from the other sale.

It's amazing, but watching the first movie elevates the experience to a whole new level.

The game is absolutely excellent. Every other day there's a LTTP saying how awesome the game is.
