I think I'll grab it on PC instead of waiting for PS5 Pro. I'm low-key kinda excited for this only because of my nostalgia

Looks good. Maybe a little too good. I now just assume games by AAA studios will be shit. I will wait for GAF impressions before touching this.

should look great on PS5 Pro

Just lower res and noiser RT effects. Is PT confirmed for consoles? I can't imagine the Pro is powerful enough, although this engine is celebrated for how well it runs on pretty much everything, so maybe they've found a way. Frame gen.

I’m still not vibing with first-person interactions and overall gameplay feels so stiff.

The puzzles are nice though.

This is less than a month away and they still can't just let go and give us an unedited 15-20 minute stretch of gameplay. Gives me Cyberpunk 2077 launch flashbacks tbh.

Also doing Uncharted-style "place is collapsing, RUN" set-pieces in 1st person.. Who the fuck came up with that decision?

There's clearly a lot of thought and love put into this game, but there are certain decisions that are just baffling to me.

The weird shifts from 1st to 3rd person during platform segments (almost nausea-inducing at times), the 1st person hand to hand combat (which by itself didn't look bad) in relatively open spaces and almost always with a single opponent (meaning you can just add distance and manage any pressure from enemies).

Making a big deal about immersion, only to then make you have to look at a HUD icon to see which disguise you have on.

It's not all bad though, the sound and graphics are all top-down amazing, the stealth areas look good with multiple options to try (though for some reason, Bethesda has taken to touting every game it's bringing with a stealth element as having "immersive sim elements", first it was Redfall and now this).

I am sorry but this game should have been 3rd person.

It looks great until the player does “indie” things then it looks very off.

I am looking forward to this game and probably double dip next march aswell but it just a weird watch whenever they release a gameplay video. Maybe it feels better playing..

Damn, this looks exactly like my jam. I'm positively surprised, previous footage kinda looked weak imo. Only thing I'm not 100 % on board with is the combat, it looks a little wonky. But I really the dig the focus on adventure!

I was sure this would be the Gamescom video, but it's not. Although very similar in structure and a few of the same puzzles shown. Anyway, very nice I'm sure I'll enjoy this a ton. I hope this is how it runs on the XsX

The gameplay looks way better than the last video I saw actually! That's cool. The only thing I still find consistently weird is the overall speed. It looks like playing a YT video on 75%, everything just always looks in slight slow motion?
