Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

At some point we'll get an email with a survey asking you to confirm which version you want. That's how it usually works at least.

Probably in January.

Everyone needs some rest, we need to find a new office, get payroll and benefits set up, etc.

There might be some related work done between now and then, but I mostly want the team to be able to rest after this long and bruising prototype development and campaign.

When we're getting closer to release, you'll receive a BackerKit survey where you'll confirm your address, pick your platform, T-shirt size, name in the credits, etc.

Thanks dude and Ravi, was just curious, can't wait :)

If your first name appears in the credits Ravidrath you know who it is btw! (me :D)

With all this talk about the Slacker Backer campaign being even worse than I figured it'd be, I don't have the highest confidence in the IGG reaching the new stretch goals.

They're smaller jumps than previous stretch goals, but... I don't know. It'll take some big funding boosts to make those.

All this lack of faith! Tsk Tsk

We will make the goals.

The last finished one has no story yet, and so we're slowly working on that while we take care of other things.
I gotcha homie

"Du'Shay Cuhnfesser"

"When Du'Shay learned about our hero's journey his blood began boiling with rage. She wasn't good enough to save the world. So he made it his mission to stop her by passive aggressively reminding her she won't ever finish the mission that it's too hard. All while he enjoyed her doubt"

I may have a job opening for you.

So long as we're reasonably close to the Animated opening stretch goal before the campaign ends, I'm pretty certain the slacker backer can hit the voice acting goal. The New Game +/Multiple Endings/Bonus hardcore dungeon, might be a bit much though. Since from the Animated opening stretch goal to the New Game + goal you have the better part of half a million dollars to cover.

Granted, it's possible that the Indivisible Slacker Backer campaign could significantly outperform other slacker backer campaigns. I mean, the power of Lanshi plush is compelling, right?

aaaaaaaaand here is my celebratory drawing of Ajna! So glad the funding goals were met. I look forward to how things turn out!

Great pose and good sense of motion! Nice facial expression too :)

I would suggest unifying your rendering style, theres like 3 different ones going on (body, beads, ace), but other than that, real nice.

Sweet, man! I like the aggressively menacing glare on her face.

It's not the vibe I've gotten from her from the official material thus far, but I enjoy artist interpretations that diverge ever so much from the original. It's as if her Heruka form is just ready to unleash.

J-Just $596,000 to go until the multiple endings guys....

There's like twelve months or however long after the campaign ends to get more cash for that kind of thing. Note: post-campaign funds are a hell of a lot slower, sure, but it's not like impossible.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, reasonably expected post-campaign funds will be nearly non-existant compared to what's needed.

Unless they save a ton of money like with Skullgirls and put it all towards the remaining stretch goals, it's unlikely at best, unfortunately.

The RPS article on Indivisible is so weird. Did they say CT was an influence? I thought VP was the only big JRPG influence they mentioned.

Lol ah man very clever, good for the chuckles.

Yeah, it had a very "I don't care enough to do any research but I should write something, I guess" tone. Just a weird article: placing the game in the "side-scrolling brawling 2D" genre, inspired by Chrono Trigger, the unnecessary comment about the characters being able "to afford clothes this time"

Weird article coming from Walker. The snark, however, was normal. I doubt he liked the Cheesecake in Skullgirls.

I like sweets though so fuck him. =P

So decided to play again today, finally climbed out of the boss pit (boy was that a chore) and found the secret stuff. xD

Was pretty cool! Can't wait for the full game.

Finally got around to replaying the prototype. Still so good, two things in particular that stuck out to me:

- The synergy in combat. Combat is so enjoyable to watch, especially when your whole team is attacking. It's a spectacle and looks gorgeous. I can't wait to see the other incarnations.

Will there be other moves? Back + Attack, Quarter circle + attack, etc.?

- Using the axe while platforming is so satisfying. There's just something about how Ajna readies the axe as you're flying through the air and the solid impact when you hook the wall. And having to ready the axe mid-jump reminds me of classic Tomb Raider

L0 have mentioned some CT influences throughout the campaign. The biggest one off the top of my head is how CT introduced new characters in each time period, and those characters would act as sort of your guides while you resolved plotlines. That's how incarnations will work in Indiv too.

Oh I'm not surprised about that and I dont necessarily disagree with the cheesecake distaste. Its just the sloppy writing in the article, like he couldnt be bother. Then have any of the other better writers on the site do the article if you can be assed.

Hey Ravi, I have a stretch goal idea.

At 3 million, you guys should license the Street Fighter 4 theme, Indestructible, as the game's theme, but with all mentions of the word Indestructible amended to Indivisible.

Will the digital art compendium be up for sale sometime after the release of the game, similar to Skullgirls? I'm at $60 right now, but trying to decide if I want to go up to $100.

Finally got some money in, so I threw some of it your way, even though it's barely a drop in the ocean by now :-D It's mostly about the symbolic, at this point, but still!
