The game really gets alot more interesting the further you get. There is a lovely rube-goldberg feel to some of the more complex later levels that is sure to put a smile on your face. It is during these levels that the swing mechanics come into their own. I found them very satisfying once I got used to the various gadgets, and before long found myself subverting the level design, swinging over platforms and skipping swings, absolutely owning it.Epic Eric isn't doing it for me. The levels feel pretty repetitive, and the 'tap at the right point during the swing/spin' isn't as satisfying as I had hoped.
It also has some of the worst music I've heard in a while, and the second world continues the awful music.
Perhaps the level design gets more interesting in the later worlds, but it could just be that I don't get on with this type of thing. I didn't enjoy Roo Roo Run either, and at least this game doesn't nag you for IAP.
Tiny Tower Vegas is out.

I've created the NEOGAF group, if anyone wants to join.
Is this pretty much the same as OG Tiny Tower and Star Wars? I haven't played one of these games in awhile and I wouldn't mind losing a little time to it. But if it's just a total reskin I might just restart Star Wars instead.
I'll try it for myself, I guess. TA says it's a true sequel to OG and gentler when it comes to IAP than Star Wars.
More coming next week.Really enjoying Epic Eric. Incredibly polished game. Only complaint is that there are 3 worlds and I want more
That's fast. The game could be more challenging; I got it yesterday afternoon and I've already three-starred the first two worlds and half of the thirdMore coming next week.

If you enjoy it, the sequel, and I Am Giraffe are also totally worth checking out. Weird games, for sure!Ahhh...what the fuck? On evolution 4, this game is insane...but must keep tapping. Definitely better than Cookie Clicker
Swing Copters can fuck OFF.
Sale ended already, back to $2.99Pathogen is free (down from $2.99). It is a wonderful turn-based strategy/puzzle game.

What's groupon? How do I take advantage of that deal?Dragon Quest 8 dropped to $15. I have no idea how long it's gonna last but with the Groupon deal that's going around (get $15 for $10), doesn't seem like a bad deal.

58 coins in Nightmare Cooperative.
Come at me GAF.
I couldn't do ANYTHING since I bought the game.
IT'S SO ADDICTING!!!
Wow 85, I saw your score on GC, pretty nice... I have no clue about the measures it takes to make it that big... as first I thought the first one on the leaderboards was a very early hacker.
I have to agree with you on the addictive. Since I got it yesterday I cant play any other game, always thinking The Nightmare Cooperative. Its so damn amazing!
A fun but repetitive hack-n-slash. I like the visuals and you feel powerful, and it's cool how different gear and weapons gives you new attacks. But it's definitely in your face about IAP and feels geared towards grinding. I played it when I bought it, but not really motivated to go back and progress furtherHas anyone bought warhammer 40k carnage ? How is it ?
More coming next week.
How does VVVVVV controls on an iPhone?

Perfectly. Was shocked by how responsive the controls are.How does VVVVVV controls on an iPhone?

1. Excellent. Fantastic game all around.
2. I have no clue
Perfectly. Was shocked by how responsive the controls are.
I'll say this. I was able to do the Veni Vidi Vici section (after about 365 deaths) with the touch controlsOk, bought it!
Let's see if I can get to finish it this time around.
I couldn't when I got it on Steam. :$
Same here, haha. Thought I was done with the formula but this new one has me by the hair. I agree with what FerranMG said, the tweaks make it feel fresh in some ways.Tiny Tower Vegas is pretty good. I wasn't going to download it because I thought I'd had my fill of them but I'm already hooked
Joined the GAF group. You win stuff depending on where you chart too. Sounds good. Lets do this!

I refuse to get involved with Tiny Tower again. I absolute annihilated the original. It was glorious.
Star Wars totally burned me. I don't really no why. It felt dirty.
Fuck Vegas.
It's like Flappy Bird or Threes/2048. Dozens upon dozens of clones. Yes, there's a massive abundance of games similar to TimbermanSo Timberman, now Tower Boxing...
I didn't realize this genre with same engine were a thing. Is there an abundance of these games? At first I thought it was from same dev as games look almost identical.
Nightmare Cooperative made me nearly miss my stop twice today ;_;
Game is so hard, but it just makes you keep going and going and going and going and going.
The gold isn't to spend. It's your score essentially. That's the risk and reward. The more gold you get, the higher your score, but every chest you open spawns enemiesDamn - this game is hard. I really kind of feel I have no idea what I'm doing. What's the point of gathering gold? It seems like I don't have anything to spend it on.
Finally downloaded The Nightmare Cooperative.
Launched it 'just to see how it is'.
Two hours ago.
WOW.
I wasn't really sold on gameplay from the trailers....but wow.
It glued me to the screen....wonderful art...wonderful music...incredibly HARD.
Loving it.
And...you can play BOTH on portrait AND landscape on iPhone.
I like it has an ending too...surprised there is 'loot' too.
Really really brilliant.
