If you wait it does populate the list, but I think it populates with everyone on your list? Maybe? It's a bit messy. Game itself is really well done though imo. Never got into SW (actually sold the tabletop) but I could totally see getting into this.I'm down for Small World games. Love the game. Haven't updated to the new version yet, but I already own it
Edit: good to go!
Edit2: it tells me I don't have any gamecenter buddies that have the game? I can't invite anyone
Glad people are finally jumping on the Small World bandwagon.

I dun goof'd. I really need to learn the army names. I had New York in the last round, not Steel Police.

They're strong at first, but lose steam quickly.Man I wish Amazons weren't so OP in Small World.
2 days longest game limit is not enough for async games :/
Is that how long the SmallWorld 2 ones are?
yeah... you can choose between 2 days, 1 day and... a shorter setting that I forgot now. :/
Wow, hot damn! Hopefully they change that. But what kind of clock is it? A turn clock or an overall clock a la Playdek?
It's a turn clock, I think. Our game has 47h left and we definitely didn't start just an hour ago. So there's at least that. Still... 2 days is a bit short.

Nethersnare seems interesting. I'd think it should cost a little more, but it's only one monster at a time.
Whoa, Ascension is free on the app store
Flynn, I think our NH game is bugged. If you want to count it as a win, that's cool. You are beating me pretty handily!
There are two kinds of card games I want (please inform me if there already exist some good ones):
1. Card Quest: basically Puzzle Quest where the combat is like Magic or Solforge. And build your deck as you battle creatures along the way (with shops, forging, chests, etc.).
My first post in this mega thread but I started Ascension a few days ago and I'm totally hooked. I'm still relatively new to the world of Boardgaming (Ticket To Ride being the only other game I've played) but I did use to game MTG back in the day.
In any case, I noticed that there was a tournament a few months back for Ascension. Any ETA on the next round?
Probably not until the Neuroshima Hex and Summoner Wars tournaments going on right now finish.
I just found out about Orions 2:

Anyone tried this? Baffled that there's no iPad version though.
I finished both 1 and 2. It's okay. The AI is brain dead and there bugs abound. The mechanics are solid though.

Ha ha.
I do like that the Game Centre holds notifications for turn based games, so that might help with the Ticket To Ride/Codito problems.
Tanto Cuore is coming soon.

Functionally, iOS 7 is far superior to iOS 6. But I can see why someone may not like the visual design. Personally, it doesn't bother me, and some of the visuals have even been improved (good riddance, sucky skeuomorphics).
All in all, I'm very happy to have updated even though I hate the new Safari icon.
