Interestingly, if they just released the new content as DLC for $10 nobody would be batting an eye. Give people an upgraded version of the game at the same time and everyone loses their mind. Never change GAF.
 
Especially when a lot of people already got platinum on these games. The remasters are not worth playing these games again, it makes the pro laughable for it's price point because this is what they think it's for.
 
Bend needs money to survive the next two years until they figure out their next project. It's either that or be shut down. Very predictable move. IMO it wont be enough.

At some point you're going to have to dead the idea until it actually happens. Expecting a BB remaster at every SOP is insanity.

There's a high percent chance that they aren't using their A-level internal resources to pump out a simple remaster, just like every other remaster-team that is designated for these types of cleanup projects.
 
Bloodborne Remastered is their "break in case of fire" game. I doubt we're gonna see it unless they get into another PS3 tier disaster.

I'm perosnally not all that desperate for BB even tho I'm big fan of BB.....I rather get Muramasa on modern system if possible.

To me its more crazy how much Sony ignoring lot of fans wanting Bloodborne.....most of us dont even want full "remake" just simple remaster or even just god damn PS5 update.
 
Just a gentle reminder from a recent console convert that PC having reinvigorated my loves for games. Hell, we already get tons of remakes. I really love going back to old games and playing them with better optimization. Just saying...

Your existing controllers will continue to work. PC gaming has moved on a lot since 2005.

PC not really an option for me. I want to play Ghost 2, DS2, and GTA6 in 2025. The new Returnal game in 2026 looks like a banger too.

TLOU already had a remaster. TLOU II on PS5 with just the PS4 running in backwards compatibility runs and looks fantastic.

There's one damn classic PS4 game that's stuck at 30fps and 1080p with terrible frame pacing and it's the one Sony refuses to remaster.

No. That's what a failed GaaS initiative does to your pipeline, and then you have to scramble to make a quick buck to get your money back.
 
It's a lot easier to do than Bloodborne, for sure. But to answer your question: yeah, they're trolling.
 
I was busy at work today so unfortunately couldn't watch live.

Where was 1st party at? Just Housemarque? No Marathon. No Bloodborne.

I don't think it's the lack of competition. The marketing and business development teams are just awful. There needs to be a shake up.
 
This is what happens when you spend hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars on gaashit that is either canceled or not ready for release. It's crazy we didn't see marathon, or gummy bear, or fair game dollar, and is probably a bad sign for all those.

You won't need to the ENTIRE gen will be cross gen - wouldn't shock me if some "ps6 titles" were playable on ps4 with lower settings
