I was gonna buy it but forgot, oh well, discs are still out there in the wild.
My goodness....The flashback to Chuck E Cheese as a kid playing this and X-Men Arcade. Beat-em-ups were so cool back then. All that tech and they cant make something better than this?
Somehow the gaming industry fumbled the entire MCU era. No clue how they did it, but here we are. A gen before during the Star Wars prequel era we had 4,321 video games about it and bunch were good. MCU era? 1 meh game and 1 good game. Props to Guardians of the Galaxy for sliding in at the last possible second and making a fun one.
The game is tailor-made for co-op. It's really fun in a 4P lobby and pretty boring in SP. Can't do that on a pirated version.
Can you even play co op now it's gone? I picked it up just for the single player but hey ho.
No, the only reason this failed was because of an extreme lack of content, the hawkeye expansions were delayed because of the delays with the show, and the war for wakanda expansion was delayed because boseman died, there were many long stretches without any meaningful updates, and they also refused to fix some glaring issues, instead opting to just release new cosmetics and introducing more stupid mechanics.I can imagine the suits behind this being so convinced that a live service game where you get to play as the Avengers would be a surefire hit. But the results speak for themselves, and now the game is discontinued.
I still have a PS4 copy on disc.Delisting like this is why all digital should never happen
I can’t wait to see that flopJust in time for Suicide Squad to commit suicide next year.
Arguably started with Hulk movie in 08.20 years? I thought the first movie was 2012?
That's the isolationist Sony Spiderman. Not MCU Spiderman.
None of the games were based on the MCU.That's the isolationist Sony Spiderman. Not MCU Spiderman.
Still unbelievable to me that an actually competent developer had their hands on, at the time, the worlds biggest IP and they completely and utterly bungled it.

These are the actual MCU games and I'll rank them from best to worst:None of the games were based on the MCU.
The first area is a slow walking and talking level. That seems very popular around here.the start was horrible to "play"
Shooting dull space rocks with lasers and running interstellar cargo trade businesses is all the rage too.The first area is a slow walking and talking level. That seems very popular around here.
It's Official: Marvel's Avengers Is Gone
After just three years, Marvel's Avengers has been delisted. Anyone who owns it can still play, but it's a grim end for the live service.www.thegamer.com
You should still be able to play with friends, but any issues you run into won't be addressed, and there will be no more events.
Good, stop the superhero shit (except Batman).
Might be a silly question but what if you were to buy a physical copy?
I could have sworn it was earlier than that. I was thinking 2005ish.The “these are all the same movie” series started with Iron Man. It seems that was 2008, so 15 years, whatever. The mind was numbed for everything after the second Captain America movie.
No. Spider Man and Batman are both great. Keep those.Good, stop the superhero shit (except Batman).
