Talk about snake oil, a programme just on prime-time TV had a women getting an all over sea-weed 'mudpack' to 'remove toxins'.

Ok so far, personally I'll remain sceptical, but then *blam* - all sense is gone in one sentence describing how the sea-weed works, and I quote.

"Well, the seaweed contains freeze-dried water crystals..."

The presenter didn't even flinch or question such a sham.

Freeze-dried water crystals, I kid not.

Water crystals are obviously ice, the "freeze dried" part is just nonsensical.

how does freeze dried work anyways. I understand freezing and drying seperate but whats the point of combining the two?
