OK, the level of procrastination for working from home has gotten so bad that I'm creating cream of mushroom soup.

You got it bad, man. But enjoy your soup. I need to make homemade mushroom at some point too. Never tried it, but funnily enough, I was talking about it with someone at work yesterday. And now you're writing about it on here. Is this...the law of attraction?

Work update: Mushroom soup was a bit earthy but nice. Needed either more cream or less mushrooms or gone with 2 punnets of button instead of either the chestnut or forestiere punnet.

"Going to do"? I thought they had been doing it for more than a year now!

Yeah, pretty much. I think the Impact 365 thing was going for this, but it never took off because fans just don't care about TNA THAT much. Really though, I wish the company well. Who knows? We might see something fresh. Looking forward to reading and listening to the reviews.

I'm debating "working from home" this afternoon to make some taco soup.

James Bond: FAVE FIVES

Some of my choices might surprise you. Some might not. Music was especially tough to narrow down, as what movie would get into the 5th spot for favorite movies. Also hard was top villains because really, most of the villains actually suck. Same for the women. The hottest women in Bond movies are usually locals on location. It has video, music, songs, and gifs. I'm now done with the Bond series. I've watched them all over the past month. Now I'm lost.

Fantastic, I love me 007.

edit: hell yeah LICENSE TO KILL!

I hate Craig as Bond. Not fun or playful at all. Even Connery had his moments. Don't like any of his movies at all.

Goldeneye is my favorite Bond movie. Moore is likely my favorite overall Bond. Die Another Day is the worst movie by a mile.

Strobody does it better when it comes to ranking Henchmen though.

James Bond Fave Five is dope. Great read. Consider making an OT for it? I think people (especially Brits) love to argue over Bond.

Just want to say I watched that raw fallout with Pound 4 Pound(Cesaro and Kidd) cutting a promo and it is something I can get behind

Commentary missed the point that they were making an impact and instantly made them rosebuds.

High-fives all around

License to Kill is top 3 for me, never get the hate for it.

Only thing I disagree with is Die Another Day intro being bad. I actually think it's cool, but I've always liked Madonna's pop music. If you turn the volume down I think you would at least agree it looks cool.

The movie is fucking insane though. I remember seeing Vin Diesal's XXX that summer thinking it was ridiculous. It was trying to be a modern over the top new age "cool" bond. Well Pierce sure showed him!!!!!!!!

*Applause* Great read

I personally would have ranked Brosnan higher simply because of his talents and him being pretty much the quintessential version of what Bond should be, that and (outside of Goldeneye) he's usually the one bright spot of otherwise terrible films.

Stro, I can say without question your reviews have reignited my itch to watch some of the Bond movies again. I want to watch Casino Royale and Goldfinger again so badly, and I actually have yet to see Skyfall

Good list is good. We disagree on Moonraker, but little else.

Spectre will be good, even if it isn't visual fellatio like Skyfall.

well thank god you didn't just make a list of bond movies with grades only and zero context I'd hate for anyone to have been alienated. *fart*

I'm sure the up-their-own-asshole smark crowd at the next American show they perform at will eat this shit up too.

Only reason you should ever do it is if you've had some kind of surgery. It's a sham. You're not detoxing anything. Just make little changes on a daily basis until your eating right most of the time.

Bravo for your sterling work on this, Stro. 100% agreement with the henchmen - including Wint & Kidd.

If Dalton only had been in better films... He was supposedly Ian Fleming's vision of how Bond should be.

Reminds me that I need to watch Skyfall again - it obviously didn't leave the best impression on me. CR is awesome.

Die Hard next?
You'll love 5, I promise...

No to Die Hard. I've seen them enough times, as recently as last year. 5 is GARBAGE. Holy shit what an uninspired and uninteresting movie on every possible level.

Billy Gunn has survived a lot longer than I expected. Totally expect those 2 to burnt out years ago, props to them for keeping healthy.

Totally shocked at where you voted Moore/Dalton!

Everything else I pretty much agree with Stro, you are pretty awesome at making my choices in rating Bond stuff feel validated.

I like Moore when he was being Moore, not Connery. Connery completely gave up after Goldfinger. I really don't like his rapey nature. I don't even get why it was a thing to begin with. Look at Connery in those early movies. He's tall, handsome, in shape, and CHARMING AS FUCK. There was no need for him to be rapey in the slightest. Women would melt when he talked to them. Yet most of his movies has him basically forcing himself on women, or blackmailing them into fucking him.

I had trouble with the songs most of all. Nobody Does It Better and OHMSS theme were just outside the top 5.

I have the Austin Powers series, but I don't think I'm going to review them. Just watch them to see if they are any funnier now that I actually get all the references. I'm thinking the next one I do will be a horror series or something. I should have done reviews for all the Godzillers/PotA movies.

They've got Hoyte van Hoytema on photography, Spectre should look at least very good.

Fucking do that! I'd read all of them. Even your Godzilla 2014 review that I know I'll disagree with.

I want to read a Legit Shook review for Godzilla Final Wars - the most batshit crazy Godzilla movie that also stars TMF Don Fyre

I already watched them all last year. I don't need to watch them again. Fuck Finals Wars and Fuck Godzilla 2014. My Fave X Godzilla movies:

Mothra vs Godzilla
Godzilla vs Hedorah
Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
Terror of Mechagodzilla
All of the Heisei era
MAYBE the two Mecha Millennium movies. Maybe.

:( why that to Final Wars?

But the rest of your list shows you have pretty damn solid Godzilla taste - Heisei 4 lyfe. Godzilla 1985 not having any proper American DVD or BluRay release is a crime in my opinion, its such an underrated movie. I'd maybe scratch Mothra vs Godzilla from that list, but that's mostly due to the fact that I think Mothra can die in a fire (hey, Final Wars delivers!). Nobody wants to see Godzilla job to a couple of larvae.

How about reviewing the 80s/90's Batman movies?

Batman 1989
Batman Returns
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

(I included the two animated ones just to balance out the shit that is the Schumacher movies)

Nolan is arguably worse than Burton when it comes to filming action scenes and Nolan's Gotham is absolutely boring as fuck, especially in the two sequels. Dark Knight Rises is also lazy as absolute fuck.

The further away we get from the Nolan-Batman hype the more the problems with his sequels pop up in my opinion. Burton's 2 movies have plenty of issues on their own, but those issues annoy me less than the issues in Nolan's movies mostly because Burton actually keeps things a but more fun and playful than Nolan does. Dark Knight is actually kind of boring to watch when Joker or Gordon aren't on screen.

Rises is kinda overated but Dark Knight still stands as the best Batman movie in my book

then again it's subjective and blablabla
