Jensen Huang just got a 49% pay rise

Jensen only has 3.5% of Nvidia? Huh. I would have expected lot more, at least 40 or so. Still, 90 bil is nothing to scoff at. Not that it's actual money.
Yes, as founders of tech companies go, his stake is comparatively small

This is for several reasons, but the biggest one is that he's a co-founder with multiple other people (who all left the company long long ago) and so his original stake was always diluted compared to solo founded companies like Meta (Facebook) and Amazon or companies with 2 founders like Apple, Microsoft, etc.

The other reason is that in the early days, Nvidia offered large stakes in the form of employee stock options to many of it's earliest employees. Those people are also all billionaires now today, but in the early days Nvidia was struggling to survive and they couldn't afford to pay big salaries and offering the options was an alternative to draw desperately needed talent from comparatively big competitors in those days like Intel

Yeah, because everyone can become rich can't they?

The US has over 1,000 billionaires now. The majority of the rest of the population is fighting over scraps.

You might see yourself as a temporarily embarrassed millionaire in waiting, but you're not. That's not how this game works.
Really? All you had to do was buy some Nvidia stock like 5 years ago and you would be a millionaire today. That is how the game works

Everyone CAN become rich in America if you have some semblance of brain power and keep your wits about you and learn how to invest

The US has almost 22 million millionaires, comprising 8.5% of the entire adult population

You could have been one of those 22 million, why aren't you?
