JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable OT What a Beautiful Duwang

David Pro has been adapting the parts fairly quickly. At the rate they're going, they'll catch up to the manga in no time.

Didn't Part 8 start a little before the anime did?
What will DP do when they start to run out of material to adapt? Will they wait for each part to finish, which could take years?

The usual: A reboot, filler or simply wait until each part is done.

That is a good problem to have.

At the rate they're going, by time they finish Part 7 then Part 8's manga will also be finished and they can move straight into adapting Part 8. Who knows what will be going on with Jojo when that is all complete around 10 years from now.

They'll probably wait, but keep in mind that Part 7 and 8 are really long. Really long, as in, they might need 75 to 100 episodes to adapt, each.

So they may have to split up Part 7 into 2 or 3 separate seasons depending on how they tackle it. Doing it all in one go sounds like it'd be a budgeting nightmare.

Will that even work out? I dont think anything past Part 6 will be animated, because of the popularity and the length of the part after that.

It might happen, it might not happen. Who knows?

We've had this discussion so many times in the manga thread, lol

They'd be around the same length as previous seasons. Part 6 has 158 chapters while Part 7 has 95. The average chapter length in Part 6 is around 30 pages, while the average in Part 7 is around 45.

Keeping in mind the first 25 or so chapters (and many following that) of Part 7 had around 30 pages (before the move to the monthly publication, Ultra Jump), we only have around 40-50 "big chapters". The really long chapters JoJolion regularly features are not as consistent in Steel Ball Run.

Then there's the fact that tankobon for Part 7 and 8 don't feature as many chapters as tankobon from previous parts. At least, reflective of my copies.

Steel Ball Run is definitely longer than previous parts, but it's not nearly as long to necessitate 75 or 100 episodes. Not even remotely close to that, in fact. I'd say 50-60 is a safe estimate, but I'd consider that pretty extreme, considering a lot of action in SBR is just pages showing ongoing events that do not require text; stuff an anime could gloss over in seconds what a manga would take several pages to show.

Fair enough.

(also I'd take this to the manga thread because people will probably start posting spoilers if we continue here)

What does it say?

"JoJo no Natsuiro na Kiseki" (it's a parody logo from this anime).

Since so few transparent versions of the logo exist on the internet, people pick the first one they see. And since most of the western fans who use the logo for image macros can't read kanji, they also don't realize it's a parody. That's why this one went viral, and not the show's actual logo.

Watch as a lot of people claim they knew and they are in on the joke and its a meme on itself.
