That was a fun ep. I unfortunately remember to much of the OVA! Should be neat to relive some of those memories at least.
It will be interesting to see if they can top THAT episode from the OVAs wouldn't you agree ;3

Based on his design CLAMP never really advance their art style. But man...that's fascinating in an odd way. What's Charmy Greens power?
It's only appropriate to strap on that Star Platinum mask and ORA ORA some people, or an orangutan.
It's basically just a straight up combination of Star Platinum and Heirophant Green iirc.

Right, note to Crunchyroll or whomever is subtitling this, it is pretty hard to hide the original musical reference when it is literally right there on the manga.

Loved the episode.
is still one of my favorite moments in the entire part and it was great here.
Anyways, it's a good thing they're not needlessly padding the Oingo and Boingo "fight" and will get it done in one episode.
Yeah, it's been implied with Strength and now Iggy that animals with stands have human-like intelligence.

God what have i done, when i started it during Christmas forced a friend of mine to do the same and it endend with other six SIX friends starting it, my facebook home has been invaded by JoJo pics and memes. The other day we met and saluted each other by doing poses. We're going crazy.

Roud About had the best transitions. I'll have to watch Part 3 again to see how they transitioned to it.

When N'doul kills himself so he won't be interrogated and he says Hermit Purple can read minds...can it? I don't remember that ability ever being mentioned, I always thought it was just spirit photography and weird grappler moves.

I think if anything he didn't want to risk the chance that H. Purple might be able to do such a thing.

Alternatively, we've also seen that Dio has a Purple Hermit-like ability too, so maybe Dio's can do that and therefore Joseph's could too.
Yes, it is disliked because it is mostly a never ending series of stand of the week fights helmed by a bland and perfect protagonist the complaints goes. I can see some merit to this.

I assumed Dio told him the full extent of Hermit Purple, but the group hasn't discovered that one yet. So it was a slip of the tongue.
Anyway, pretty entertaining episode.
Throwing Iggy at him was pretty clever.
Why are we spoiling the episode? Well I'll do it anyway since I don't want to get screamed at.

Throwing Iggy at the enemy seems like a very Araki thing to do. Anyway is this the first time parts past the credits had non-preview stuff? Seemed like it was an extra part that won't be shown in the next episode.

I meant that I think the dislike is exaggerated, plenty of people love it, even if some have a hard time transitioning to Stand and Jotaro, both pretty different from ripple and Joseph.

I mean, sure there's some vocal minority that thinks part 3 is very overrated, but Stardust Crusaders is definitely not disliked overall.

What a great episode, kept me at the edge of my seat wondering what the next move would be, lots of imaginative moves happening to get the one-up the opponent. In that sense this episode felt closer to a Part 2 episode than the first half of Part 3.
We also see Dio printing photos without crushing the camera as opposed to Joseph.
It's possible Joseph just isn't aware of the potentials of Hermit Purple.
Nearly missed the post-credits content if not for this post. Good stuff.

If the rest of Part 3 was probably as consistent as the second half people would like it more overall, I think. Araki hits his stride in the second half (and you still have good episodes in the first half, like Steely Dan, Enya, Hol Horse and J. Geil, etc., can't remember them all) but there are far more good ones in the second part.

I can't really agree, just going from the show but so far Battle Tendency is still the best arc.
Stands didn't really shine for me until Part 4
Stands in the second half of part 3 are pretty rad.
Overall the second half is way better and I think this episode was better than most fights in the first half, and Geb isn't really my favorite fight in this fight.
Design-wise, Part 3 is still up there.
Although I'm biased because I love the horror references.
When it comes to abilities/uses I'd agree.
Yeah it's mostly the abilities that made them stand out to me.
Same, it's why I rank part 3 as the 2nd lowest.
There are some interesting ones, but I feel it's pretty telling that it transferred so well into a fighting game.
